Marilena our tour guide was amazing and Antonio our driver was super nice and very skilled especially when we drove to amalfi coast with very narrow roads. IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!

Hatten Tour mit Frühstück gebucht, das nicht stattfand. Schnelle Reaktion durch GetYouGuide nach Beschwerde. 50 Euro wurden erstattet. War völlig o. k. Den Hinweis, dass dieses aus Kulanz erfolgt und keine rechtliche Verpflichtung besteht, hätte man sich allerdings sparen können. Die angebotene und bezahlte Leistung wurde ja nicht erbracht. Die Eintrittsgelder in alle touristische Attraktionen in Rom erscheinen völlig überteuert. Auch nach der Erstattung hat die Besichtigung des Museum im Vatikan, der Sixtinischen Kapelle und des Petersdom mit Führung immer noch pro Person 100 Euro gekostet. Die Führung an sich und unser Tour guide waren sehr kurzweilig, informativ und beschränkten sich auf das wesentliche - sehr gut!

Our guide Andrew was very knowledgeable on art history and took time to explain some behind the scenes details of various art pieces that gave us a deeper and sometimes humorous understanding behind the artist and piece. He was attentive to keep the group together and engaged as we navigated the halls and crowds.

This tour was worth the expense. There was a throng of people to get in and our tour guide expertly and efficiently led us past them all. We experienced the museum, Sistene chapel and St Peter’s in a half a day with no waiting.
The Louvre is super crowded. It just is. Get a tour guide to skip the line and try to get up to the Mona Lisa a tiny bit faster. Viewing the Mona Lisa is a madhouse. Very poor crowd control, but that’s on the Louvre. Our guide Natalia was fine. Super knowledgeable. She reminded me of a college professor who could talk about art for hours!

Barbara was an excellent tour guide par excellence. Not only did she give background details of sites visited during the tour but shared a lot of interesting facts and information about Rome in particular and Italy in general. She’s very engaging with the tour participants and managed the tour logistics well amidst unexpected minor showers that we had before the last tour site. The trips to Bagnoregio and Orvieto were exceptionally nice and surprising to see wonderful places that have been existing for very long time.

Pompeii is beautiful. beautiful city. However, the place where we ate the pizzas was not nice at all. We ate outside of the restaurant. the whole bus ate outside, and the price of the pizza was expensive compared to other expensive restaurants. The lady giving the guiding tour was just practically giving indications from the bus, no more than that. She said that we have to see the sunset in Sorrento but she didn't notice that was already close to 6 pm, while the sun was gone.

The guided tour was great, and the guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Eiffel Tower. It seemed like a lot of people on the tour didn’t realise what they had paid for, and had no interest in the guided tour itself. I don’t understand why they didn’t just buy an entrance ticket and went up by themselves, because their impatience ruined a lot for the few of us that actually were interested in hearing the history and fun facts about the Tower, despite the guide trying his best.

It is a very very long day trip starting at 7 am and finishing post 9pm so not very sure it's a good idea to do this from Rome unless desperate (Naples would be a better option). The last leg of about 2 hrs Amalfi coast and Positano is the most scenic and enjoyable but for that you spend 14 hrs!. Breaks are very minimal 15 mins for having meals and washroom usage. Lot of logistics like changing to local tour guides in Pompeii, coordination with restaurant for pre ordered pizza meal at Pompeii, shifting to smaller buses for Positano. It becomes a long routine / series of steps instead of being an enjoyable and relaxing trip. The itenary needs to be re-thought of for it to be an enjoyable experience and not a hectic and cumbersome long road journey.
