Cold, no crowds, excellent!

Daniel was an exceptional guide during our tour of Normandy. Despite the cold weather, he ensured we were comfortable and engaged throughout the day. His knowledge of history was unparalleled, and he shared insightful details that brought each stop to life. Avoid it

Better rent a car or book any other tour on this topic. The biggest pet peeve were the guides who had no charisma or energy to engage you within a story. The information is extremely shallow, they do not come with you and explain the locations, they remain in the bus and wait for the group inside (?!) Despite a couple of stories (basic WW2 know-how, with a couple of historic mistakes) during the drive, which they tell you without any human connection, there is no interaction. The food and restaurant are not the "charming" spots you would expect, I would dare to say the food was really bad. Don't get me wrong, the places are really beautiful and I am sure there are amazing stories behind them. But you see 5% of these amazing areas in a commercial overpayed tour, with no information behind and in a rush. Why would one pay for this? PS. They really do leave people behind, without even going after them, which I found very odd. There is really no need to leave people in the middle of nowhere for +-5 minutes of drive.

Perfect D-Day Learning Experience

Thelma and Ave were incredible tour guides. The tour lets you see everything listed and is a great highlight of D-Day sites. The bus was great and the day was full! We had kids ages 5-14 with us and we absolutely recommend it!

It was a hreat trip,...

It was a hreat trip, except to the fact that our guide and her friend didn't stop talking loud during the entire road trip. It was really annoying because they tapked very loudly in italian, and careleslly about everyone else.

As informações enviadas por e-mail indicavam que deveríamos estar no ponto de encontro às 6h50, porém, ao chegarmos e entrarmos em contato com a empresa, fomos informados de que o horário correto era 8h20. Além disso, o café da manhã deixou a desejar e não passamos por três espaços importantes que faziam parte do roteiro.

Louvre experience-thank you Pierre

Pierre was our guide. We were 11, all from US. He asked us what we wanted to see; gave us choices. We ultimately saw a litlle of everything, meaning most, if not all of the exhibition rooms, explaining a little about each. We even got to stand in line for a close up of the Mona Lisa. We got the Sphinx, Napoleon's jewels, the code of hammurabi, and so much more. In all of my tours on this European trip: Milan, Lugano, Como, Paris, Pierre was by far the best guide of the 3 used. His depth of knowledge along with his flexibility made the experience rewarding and memorable. Merci, Pierre

A good way to get a fast paced overview of the vatican highlights

Of course it's busy, but at least our guide (Amy) kept us moving - at the start it seemed a bit fast paced, but there's a reason for that - the place is huge. As it was our tour lasted 3 hours and we felt we'd only got a taster of the museums. The setup is good - Amy talks into a microphone and we all have earpieces so you can hear what she's saying even if you stop to look at something that catches your eye. That is much more effective than trying to all stay close enough together in the crowds. This was our first trip to the vatican and we felt we'd have an idea where we would go on our own if we wanted to come back again. Amy was cheerful and engaging - which you need on a three hour yomp!

Exceptional! A must do!

This trip was exceptional. The guide (Elisabetta) was friendly and very clear in her instructions and information. The driver (Roberto), was a confident and safe driver. Both were very lovely to spend the day with. The locations visited were beautiful and interesting. The guide was very helpful with organising a booking for lunch and helped people who struggled with the walking. It was a long day (11.5 hours), but well worth the trip. This tour is not for people who struggle with mobility. It is also recommended not to go during peak periods! We’ve seen the photos. It’s intense. Thankfully it was off peak for us.

An unusual tour!

This was a surprising trip for us, as we booked it without actually knowing what it entailed. We were pleasantly surprised. The trip to the Catacombs was very interesting, then the trip to the church, then the finale which was a trip to a crypt. So a very unusual trip, but the guide was excellent.

Sam was an excellent tour guide. He was very passionate about WW2 history and very knowledgeable about everything and any question asked. He was funny and sarcastic and made the trip very enjoyable. He was a personable guy and also took admirable precaution with everyone’s safety throughout the ride. I highly recommend him if you’re thinking about taking this amazing trip.

An sich war es toll. Treffpunkt sofort gefunden, Guide sehr freundlich. Gemeinsam zum Eifelturm gelaufen, ca. 2 min. für die Karten mussten wir dann anstehen, das habe ich nicht verstanden. der Guide hat für uns alle, die am Treffpunkt waren, Karten gekauft. da war ich enttäuscht, weil eine Karte bis zum Gipfel 26€ kostet! und wir so viel mehr bezahlt haben. Preis Leistung, nicht in Ordnung!

Following New Year celebrations it was busier than usual. But if confusion with the start point of the tour but soon on our way. Self tour an app was fine although it perhaps could have included a bit more information throughout the museums as there was so much to see. App crashed a few times even though it was downloaded and not requiring Wi-Fi.
