It was great. I only wish that the micro phone can be a bit low. It was too loud for the bus & the sounds just echo Julia was so knowledgeable & professional. Highly recommend this tour & Julia

Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, & St. Peter’s Basilica Fully Guided Tour

This was our second guided tour in Rome with City Wonders. The staff were well organised and the guide Amen was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend a guided tour as we skipped the line, were given lots of interesting information and he took us to areas not necessarily available to those not on a tour. It was well worth a visit and would recommend this company.

We visited Château Versailles in early March. Even though it wasn't prime season, it was extremely busy but our guide (Tinu) was very informative and did well keeping us all together despite the crowds haha! The only thing was time wise, there was not time to see the extensive gardens at all, though it was advertised to include the gardens when we bought the tickets (this was free of charge in off season, but it was still indicated that we would have time to explore the gardens). An hour was left for the gardens in the end, and we were advised to take the small train to go around and get dropped off at different sites. The train did not show off any of the sites, just stopped at the entrances, but due to limited time, we would have missed our bus if we had gotten off at any of the drop sites. Overall, very good but definitely need more time for the gardens.

This a really lovely day trip from Rome with great views and plenty of food and shopping in the towns. I loved the agrotourism stop for lunch at the vineyard Pulcino, the food they prepared was really fresh and quality, all from their own farm! I had two full weeks in Rome, so had the time to fit this full day tour into my schedule and am glad I did. Our guide was the great “Emperor” Antonino, who you felt was there for you as a guide not just for the trip, but for Rome in general. You are in good hands with Antonino! He gave plenty of great information about the sites we see as well as history and modern life in Italy. A lovely fellow. If you have time, and are interested in seeing more of the countryside, this is a perfect little excursion. The only small imperfection was that while the bus had plenty of room, it was an older bus without the best shocks. Didn’t stop me from sleeping in between stops though.

Absolutely wonderful and “breathtaking!” Art work is spectacular as expected, but I was amazed at the architecture, the construction and materials sourced and used! There were many “hidden gems” from our tour, that discussed the architecture, construction methods and details not commonly known about the artwork. This is a must-do for anyone’s bucket-list!

would have liked being guided to the big church in oviedo as we did not have time before buss left

Pompeii was great but it was the wrong time of year to visit Positano as most shops and restaurants were closed for the season

Der Guide war sehr hilfsbereit. Die Führung vor Ort unglaublich detailreich. Ein toller Ausflug den ich nur empfehlen kann.
