A great way to navigate...

A great way to navigate all the insane crowds and make the most out of our time at the Louvre. It might have been nicer to have a smaller group, but that’s just a personal preference :)

Sonja and her team did a...

Sonja and her team did a good job for this trip. We love the lunch and the wine tasting. One of the stop was a store selling Tuscany products like Olive oil, dips, chocolates, wine, etc. Her ideas of looking into the products first and don’t buy them until on our way back was wise. Montepulciano is a quaint town with a deep history of Italy.

Castles and Lore (Loire)

James and Goran were great guides for our trip. They are both very personable, and have the ‘gift of gab’. I enjoyed their little jokes, and large nuggets of information like how there were more small settlements (<700 people in these towns) than half of Europe

It was a great experience and great guide. It was so good that we are returning to Como this year. The Switzerland part was too short but good as well.

Excellent option

Angela our tour guide and Luca our driver were spectacular. 5 stars from them!!! So get ready, its a long day. At first we didnt want to because its a long day in a bus, yes its long, but Angela makes it very lively. Gives you history, preps you for what youll see, then gives you time to sleep. She recreates history and very engaging. Luca was our driver and wow, he really went above and beyond. This is a unique tour because you are seeing Pompeii and Amalfo Coast in one day which is unheard of and efficient, and perfect timing. There is a tourist trap place which is your first stop for the restrooms and food (beware because this place has very high prices) but wont break the bank for a quick breakfast cappuccino and cornetto. Pompeii tour guide could have been a bit more lively and was hard to understand at times but was good. Prior to arriving at Pompeii, you can pre order food and eat it at the bus after Pompei on the way to Amalfi, yeah I read the reviews, yes its another tourist trap but the pizzas are decent (dont get the pastas). Then you make another stop to view Sorento (quick 5 min stop) from atop and finally Amalfi Coast Positano was about 1:45, youll have time to go down to the beach, then go up and catch views, make sure to get a limoncello, limoncello spritz, and a lemon sorbet gelato. City Wonder tours always delivers. We had limited time in Rome, 3 full days and decided to use up one of the 3 full days and was worth it as you get to see different panoramas.

Long "skip the line".

The Vatican experience was amazing. You can't see everything in a few hours in one day. "City Wonders" tour group was easy to find among the chaos. The "skip the line" though is misleading. We stood in the longest of the three "skip" lines which for the price was disappointing.

The tour starts with a three hour bus ride. Our driver, Titiano, navigated the narrow streets of Rome like a pro and he provided us a smooth and comfortable ride. Our tour guide, Laura, was a wealth of knowledge and she was very personable. Her English was very clear and easy to understand. Once in Pompeii, our tour guide was Giovanni. He took us to a number of key sites and provided us with valuable information on the history of the area. After Pompeii, we stopped for pizza at a pizzeria halfway up the mountain and were provided with a complimentary meal consisting of a small appetizer, a margherita pizza, and a piece of tiramisu. After lunch, Titiano continued to expertly navigate our bus up the winding mountain road that led to the entrance to where we would begin our ascent of Vesuvius on foot. They left us to climb at our own pace, which was great for me because I am no longer young and I am not in excellent shape. The climb was challenging, but the view at the top was a worthy reward. We were not prepared for the temperature drop or how the wind would pick up while we were at the top. We felt blessed to have been able to complete this experience.

Beautiful day on Lake Como

Fabulous trip to Lake Como. Comfortable transportation, lively boat ride and plenty of time in both Bellagio and Switzerland to enjoy the sights, shopping and dining. Really great way to spend the day and our guide Sara was very helpful, friendly and informative. It was a good value for the cost. The weather was clear and sunny, which made it perfect. Highly recommend.

Awe inspiring experience with MG

MG was an amazing guide and not only was it essential to skip the line, but she was so informative and knowledgeable it made the experience even more amazing! I couldn’t imagine trying to fight the crowds and navigate the property without a guide. Hopefully you will get MG because she was exceptional! Highly recommend.

Valentina was professional, knowledgeable and kind!! Adamo was an amazing driver .. Italy is not an easy place to maneuver!! Pompeii is something I will never forget visiting!!

City Wonders-GetYourGuide are BAIT and Switch RIP-OFFS!!

My review and complaint is soley around The "Bait and Switch" pricing presented on web site. Initial price is listed as $179.59 per person. A bit expensive, but reviews were good. So I announced to my family of 7, we were going and they were all very excited. When I went to pay, the new price per ticket jumped to $334.63 per person! An extra $155.04 per person or an 86% INCREASE! "INCLUDES ALL TAXES AND FEES". I understan VAT tax, but it is outrageous to advertize a price and then raise it 86%! in undetailed FEES. Initial price was $1,257 and jumped to $2,342. Increased $1,085. If I had not told my family, I would have never booked out of principal. TicketMaster in USA got sued over such practices. No consumer protection in the UK.

Natalie was the perfect guide. We enjoyed the tour so much! She was so knowledgable about the history of the royal family and the changing of the guard - it really made the tour very special.

Stress og jag

Turen var meget hektisk. Vi droppede hurtigt ud. Vi følte, vi skulle løbe igennem og misse mange små detaljer. Den var lagt an på voksne fans med stort kendskab til britiske skuespillere og ikke børn og voksne, der bare ville være i og opleve Potter-universet. Vi valgte at gå i eget tempo i stedet. Det var virkelig meget bedre.
