Wonderful Tour with Hugo

The Louve group tour was wonderful! Hugo did an amazing job keeping all of us engaged and had so much history to share with us about the Louvre, French history, Greek mythology, and tied it all into the artwork. It really helped you appreciate and further understand the art. Highly recommend.

Great Last Minute Option

We had no idea the Harry Potter studio tours through the Warner Bros website sold out so far in advance. This tour through Viator was the only way we were able to still go. It's basically the VIP Tour Warner Bros has on their website, except you don't get the pictures the WB tour offers, but you still get the guided tour when there. You see a lot of the original props, sets, and costumes on the tour while also getting in depth background info on the making of the movie and deeper meanings behind various things. It's a must do for HP fans! The Viator tour guide meets you at the Euston station and travels with you all the way to WB studios, which is very helpful when being in a new country and unsure of exactly where to go. I'm thankful this was an option or we wouldn't have gotten to go.

Amazing tour....a must

This is a fabulous tour of Normandy and a must for every American to see!!! Our tour guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about everything we saw and hundreds of facts about WW2. He was humorous and serious at the right times and kept our attention the entire time. The tour is a 12 on a scale of 10. That doesn't mean there aren't room for improvements and there are many. I'll start with the pickup point which is basically a street corner. When we came out of the metro at 6:30am and it was pitch black. My pet peeve with Paris is that there are no street signs on the crosswalk poles which would be easy to see. The street signs are on the buildings which in the dark is not happening. So we came up the stairs from the metro into a street hub of about 5 streets and even with Google maps we had no idea which way to head. I knew if we made the wrong decision we would miss the bus. Remarkably I made the right choice and after a fast walk we saw the red tail lights of a bus arriving with only 3 minutes to spare. So the moral of the story is that the tour should provide written street by street directions from all metros surrounding the pickup point...and choose a much better spot. After 2 hours we stopped for "breakfast" at a gas station. A little weird. Maybe a brown bag breakfast and coffee with no stop would be better. We went to a WW2 museum in Normandy which was fabulous. On the way our tour guide provided many facts about the area, battles, and personal stories from vets that had been on the tour. We went to the American cemetery where over 9000 men/women are buried. A touching experience. This is off season and we practically owned the place. Our tour guide said sometimes in the summer it takes 2 hours just to exit the parking lot. It was very cold and windy near the ocean so dress warm. We then went to some German bunkers at point-du-hoc where Army rangers landed and had to scale a huge cliff to take out artillery and machine gun bunkers. Quite the site to see old concrete bunkers and huge craters that US destroyers created. We then had lunch at a little restaurant near the ocean. You pick one of 3 meals. I didn't talk to anyone that enjoyed their lunch. I've had better frozen pizza. The worst meal we had in Paris. Our next stop was an apple farm to do a cider tasting. That was interesting and we bought some alcoholic cider as gifts to take home. Then it was home and another stop at a gas station for a "snack". On the way home the tour guide spoke of many WW2 movies, many I have seen, and yes there are a lot of good ones. He also did give some Paris restaurant tips.

Race through the Louvre

Natalya has an encyclopedic knowledge of the Louvre. She tried hard. But our group was too large, the audio sets had battery issues and were plagued with poor sound quality, and we spent too much time on the confusing architectural history of the complex. By the end, The tour felt like an art race. The crowds were oppressive.

Not worth it

The instructions asked us to arrive 15 minutes early and we did. And then we stood around for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time listening to the guide advertise to us all of the other tours they offer. The tour also did not provide any meaningful insights intk the exhibits that we could not read or see on our own.

Jo was a great guide

Jo was a great guide. She spoke slowly and clearly. She explained everything we needed to know. She took us to the best spots to see the action. Very friendly and professional. Andy the Beefeater was very good. Everything ran very smoothly.

Our tour guide Rob was incredible! Even though it was a lot of travelling he kept the energy up the whole day and really took care of us all throughout the entire trip. From teaching us about all the history of Rome to local dishes and cuisines, he made the entire day magical and I can’t thank him enough. Our tour guide at Pompeii, Elena, was extremely knowledgable and a delight to learn from. It’s hard to picture how it would’ve been so long ago when you’re looking at ruins of what once was but she really brought it alive. I would 100% recommend this trip not only to history lovers like myself but to absolutely anyone who visits Rome! You will definitely fall in love with the city and the surrounding regions!

It was a great trip. Pompeii was very nice and interesting as well as the tour. Sorrento was short and was not very worth seeing except the view. Not a lot of places open because of the period as well! In general though amazing 💛

The day trip was amazing! Our guide, Rob, was incredibly cool—calm, relaxed, and very informative. He did everything possible to ensure we made the most of our time and experienced the highlights of the tour. The transportation was good; we traveled in a spacious bus. I must also commend our driver, Mr. Chezere, who was excellent behind the wheel. In Pompeii, our tour guide, Ms. Carla, was soft-spoken and highly professional. She truly made me feel like I was part of a history class outing!
