Great experience !
Claudia was an amazing tour guide at the Pompeii site and showed our group the best areas with an amazing description. V was a great guide for the day bringing the group to Amalfi and showing all the beautiful sites we passed along the trip down the coast. Loved this experience and couldn’t recommend enough.

Dont bother
Was dangerously over crowded at points we couldnt move due to the amount of people in one room. because it was so over crowded tooks us way too long to get through it all. over 3 hrs and never saw the most important part the basilica.

Murano/Burano
Serena was a knowledgeable guide to these lovely islands. The glass demonstration was fascinating and Burano was beautiful.

Avoid the queue
I'm glad we prebooked the tour with a guide. The Louvre was extremely busy with very long queues to get in. We'd booked the tour for a 9.45am start, but the museum didn't open until 10.30am, so we had a little wait. Our guide was very knowledgeable and got us through the dense crowds inside. He made sure we didn't miss any of the highlights and took us beyond the 3 hour slot.

Three hours packed with Roman history
Scott was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable but also entertaining. It was a full and rich three hours, and well directed. We learned much more than we would have just going through on our own.

Tour guide was very helpful, and explained lots of the history and architecture of the Vatican. She maneuvered the crowds like a pro, and we enjoyed having the audio set. Only thing I would have preferred would be less time explaining the Sistine chapel paintings before heading inside, and more time inside to look at the art and sculptures.

Great experience with a very knowledgeable guide! Enjoyed our time walking through the Roman forum and the colosseum! Quite crowded but our guide navigated our large group well. Headsets worked great to hear.

Great Experience
Elisabetta and Antonio were fantastic. Get ready for a full day of learning and exploration. We really enjoyed this tour. I traveled with my husband and two boys, and it was a very pleasant experience. Elisabetta provided great tips and explained in detail about Cinque Terre and Pisa. Highly recommended!

Crowded but recommended
The museum was busy as is usual. Be ready to be part of a great mass of museum goers. However, our tour guide Marijam was an excellent guide. She explained the history of artifacts in an engaging style. She even took time to explain interesting details to some of the children on the tour. Her patience in dealing with the crowds around us was admirable.

Out of this World Experience to see the Swiss Alps
This tour (11 hrs) was one of the very best excursions we have ever taken in our lives. The views of the Swiss Alps from the Bernina Red train was unbelievable. So much beauty to take in and feel. The tour stared at 7:15am where we got on a nice tour bus and drove 90 minutes to a restaurant where we could get off and stretch our legs and get coffee and breakfast. Drove another 90 minutes to St Moritz Switzerland where we could walk around town (for 60 minutes) sightseeing and getting lunch. Once on the Bernina Red Train, we were able to travel for 2 hours 20 minutes seeing fantastic sights of the Swiss Alps and glaciers. (One note: there is no cafe/food car on the train, so be sure to bring any drinks or snacks you want onto the train with you). At the end of the ride, we got off the train and back onto the tour bus where we drove back over the Swiss border and into the small Italian town of Tirano. We were given about 30-40 minutes to walk around town and found out that the small church there was so cute. Worth the time to go into it and look around. Then back on the bus for a 2.5 hour ride back to Milan (where we arrived at 6:15pm). Mia our tour guide was extremely great. She had so much information that she shared about the places we went to and was so much fun. Overall, this was one of our best experiences ever and worth even penny to go on it. Extremely Highly Recommended.

Visit to Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel
We had a very good tour with Amy our guide from City Wonders tours.We met up opposite the entrance to the Vatican Museum without difficulty. Despite having skip the line tickets there was still a queue for SKL tickets of about 10 minutes.The ordinary queues were very much longer! However Amy gave us a very good introduction to the Vatican’s history ,really starting with St Peter’s crucifixion on the site of the basilica and from there to today. We then went through security and showed our passports and tickets. Once inside there were many people and it was busy. Amy led us through various parts of the museum pointing out key pieces and giving context and history to them . She had a very friendly and accessible style of presentation. We saw the hall of statues ,then tapestries and the geography corridor ,beautiful maps of Italy all along it. We went outside into some of the gardens to have a briefing on the sistine chapel ,which was fascinating. Then we saw the Raphael rooms and the Medici and Borgia apartments. Finally the Sistine chapel ,which is amazing ,the main detracting issue were the huge numbers of people packed into it ,not the guide’s responsibility of course.The only disappointment was the fact that the St Peter’s Basilica was closed that day, due to a service being held for 30000 pilgrims.We hope we get a chance to visit at a quieter time. The tour is really recommended as there is so much to see, it helps to have an overview with explanations. We had a 3 hour tour . We then went on to have a very pleasant meal in the restaurant in the garden square.

Most amazing day trip
I have to say that the trip was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed it so much . It was the best trip from all my experience. The guide Enrika was absolutely incredible and was telling us a beautiful stories about the history and was really helpful and I loved her sence of humor a lot. A big thank you to a driver Ticiano for his punctuality and really smooth journey. Also I wanted to thank a local guide in Montepulciano and the welcoming family guide in a farm/ winery. Thank you everyone for an amazing experience!
