Our guide was primarily Allesandra (Allie), at times we were accompanied by her colleague Alain (100% Roman with a French name). Both were excellent in terms of their knowledge, delivery and sense of humour. They made the activity both interesting and enjoyable. The crypt of the Cappuccin Monks was a strange experience, neither my wife or I have ever seen anything like it ! The Catacombs were the highlight for me. I wouldn't fancy going down there without a guide. For some this may be a little too claustrophobic for comfort, so be warned! Photography is not permitted in the Catacombs, but obviously you may use your torch facility on your phone. It is a small section of the tunnels that you are guided through, there are no human remains in this section. It is a fascinating insight into 1st Century Christian practices. Recommended!

We had Natalie as our guide and she was amazing! Got us the best spots to see the changing of the guard and we even saw the King! She is super knowledgeable and funny. Great value. Highly recommend Natalie if you can get her.

Pompeii was amazing and Sorrento Guide did not head count and left one behind and guide around Pompeii lost two different families more care and more frequent head counts required
