Amazing day at the colosseum, good service. Views were amazing. Easy to obtain a taxi or the metro to the location. Was very busy with loads of people here.

Martina greeted us warmly before the assigned tour meeting time, explained the tour and gave a wonderful tour tailored to our group. She answered all of questions and always made sure that we understood what she imparted. Martina also asked if we wanted to explore additional areas and was amenable to adjusting the tour. Mercí:)

City Wonders gave the best tours in all of Italy. We went with them twice. Their people were professional, carried readily identifiable flags, had reasonable meeting places and wonderful guides. Our guide on this trip was amazing, funny and so personable. The trip was not rushed, the meal and winery were excellent. It was a full 12 hours, but so nice and the best tour we went on.

Impresionante!!imponente!!se acaban los calificativos!!si vas a Roma es tal vez la excursión nro 1 para hacerla...Recomiendo energicamente visitar el Coliseo y soñar con las luchas de gladiadores y demás cosas que fueron testigos esas paredes.

Totally worth it for this small group tour!
Great experience start to finish. The person who met us at the train station and accompanied us to the studio was prompt, friendly and explained our day thoroughly making sure we knew where to catch all shuttles/trains for the journey back. At Warner brothers we were handed off to one of their private tour guides and it really made the day so much more enjoyable than if we had been walking around the studio on our own. We got a lot of behind the scenes info, special behind the ropes detail and made the day very special. I really think it would have just been a hectic day fighting crowds without our wonder guide.

Must-see spots. Good not great tour experience.
American Cemetery and Omaha Beach at must-see locations, and I appreciated the convenience of this tour. It was a long day due to the drive but they were efficient without necessarily rushing us. Utah Beach was disappointing. It’s historically very important but there wasn’t as much to see there. The video was ok though. Maybe better to swing through the Omaha Beach museum? Lunch was not great. I wish these tour packages allowed you to order off a larger, but still limited, menu. When you only get three options, the food is mass produced and the fries come out cold. (Fish was good though!) Daniel was a great tour guide. Super friendly and knowledgeable. He was engaging and clear. Sam is also very knowledgeable- I learned a lot from him - but he’s not very clear or engaging. He rambled off a seemingly endless stream of historical facts while staring out the front of the bus. It was hard to follow. Turn around and engage the crowd, and maybe use a map to help illustrate all you’re sharing. Overall a good trip but, I will likely look into smaller private tours next time.

Great tour, Daniel and Sam were friendly and informative. The tour gave us a good overview of the history and context of the battles. The American Cemetery was exceptionally poignant.

Loved this tour!
Sylvia was our guide and she was fantastic! The tour was great. My favorite part was Murano to see them make a vase and glass horse right before our eyes! Burano was beautiful to see all of the cute, colorful homes and eat lunch outside. We also had a blast getting out on a boat and seeing Venice from other points of view. Highly recommend this tour, book it now!

Totally worth it to avoid frustration and learn a lot.
Fabulous!! Our guide PG was such a wealth of knowledge and if we had not had him we would have not had such a great experience. 10/10 we will do it again. The lines at the Vatican kept changing and without our guide we would been lost.

Efficient, the guide was good. Be aware the crowding at the Vatican museums is a lot - very little room to look or gaze.

It was a fantastic...
It was a fantastic experience. Went off like clockwork. Our guide Anna was not only extremely knowledgeable about Montepulciano, but all the towns along the 3 1/2 drive. Our driver Luca did a great job and the bus was comfortable and very clean. Highly recommend this adventure!

Wonderful experience!
Despite the rainy weather, our tour guide, Claire and driver, Fabrizzio, spread sunshine for the duration of the day. Claire shared many fascinating facts about Rome and Italian culture and Fantizzio was an impressive modern day gladiator getting us safely everywhere we needed to go. Thanks to them both for a lovely day.

Did not receive service for which I paid and Viator refuses to reimburse me. Buyer beware!
When we showed up for the tour, we were given an entrance ticket and sent away. We were not provided the guided tour for which we paid. We paid $163 for a guided tour for 2. We were given $24 coliseum entrance tickets. I reached out to Viator to request a reimbursement for the service for which I paid and did not receive but they refuse to do so. I have used Viator in the past and always had great service. Viator refuses to reimburse me for the service the did not provide. Buyer beware!

Use City Wonders for all your tours if at all possible.
City Wonders had the most professional of all the tours we took in Italy. They meet in easy to find locations, have identifiable flags, professional guides and give great tours. Of course, the Vatican is huge, but our guide did a great job of covering as much as possible in the time given. We hit everything on the list and were given plenty of time in the Sistine Chapel, as well. The guide did a good job of explaining the art work and allowing us time for good photographs. I highly recommend this agency.
