Semih was an amazing guide! If you have him as your guide you will be extremely happy. His Knowledge and personality made the tour. The towns that we visited and thr lunch at thr Tuscany winery were exceptional. I would recommend this tour!!

Navigated the crowds
Julian was very knowledgeable, and was very accommodating to the group’s needs. The Vatican was extremely busy and crowded, but our guide helped us navigate with ease. I would not want to visit without a guide! We definitely recommend this tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable. The palace unbelievable. However it is not a tour for anyone that has problems with climbing up or down stairs.

The best islands trip
We had an amazing trip to the islands, our guide Alice was brilliant we learnt so much and she made the trip for us, one of the things I liked was this was only a small party trip, much more personal. We loved the visit to the glass factory . I looked at a lot of reviews before booking and this trip looked and offered what I wanted and it didn’t disappoint , I would highly recommend

Wonderful tour with knowledgeable guides!
Fantastic tour with very knowledgeable guides who know their stuff! Just make sure you find and reach thr meeting point a few mins before the scheduled time, since it can be a bit long to find and walk to, particularly for the Vatican part.

Tour through time!
So great to have an archeologist guide us through the history of Rome! The pictures of what used to be brought the ruins to life. Her knowledge of the sites and the history was fantastic. Loved every minute of touring these awe inspiring sites.

Paul my tour guide was great. Really knew the best places to be at what time. He kept sure not to lose anyone on the crowds and told some great stories. He also told us other places to go after the tour.

A good experience. Until it wasn't.
We were part of the Wednesday, March 19, 2025, 9:45 AM tour. I am sooooo thankful we had a guide. UNTIL WE DIDN'T! After seeing us to the Mona Lisa, our guide left a very crowded space and lost us. Literally, we had no idea where we were. Of course, we found our way out, but it was very frustrating. I don't know how she didn't know we were missing since we had been near the front the entire time. Oh, well. I'd still choose going on a tour through the Louvre versus trying to navigate it on my own. The Louvre itself is massive and isn't conducive to those other museums where you actually get a moment to sit and just ponder the amazing artwork.

Read the small print
Be careful that you read the small print on these adverts because e spent a lot of money to visit the Colosseum only to find we had no guide. The advert id guided tour and when we arrived on small print was hidden that it was self guided audio tour. We had trouble loading the app for pop guide and to be honest it was cheaper to have purchased day passes for €22 instead of the extortionate price charged. The rep for City Wonders couldnt help and agreed that it was misleading and would be reporting back.

Perfect Day Trip
Jon was an amazing tour guide and really helped us out on recommendations etc. The only thing I would have changed was more time in Positano.

Well Worth It (do not attempt Louvre on your own)
Fantastic experience even on an extremely busy day (Pro Tip: Mondays Versailles and other significant monuments are often closed creating Louvre overload per our guide). Got to see all the best things and 2.5 hrs was perfect for us/kids although some with less fortitude tapped after Mona Lisa (which is like the least impressive thing you will see, all hype IMO). Don't hesitate. Smooth check in, smooth entry, great experience with a tenured art historian.
