Good tour but rushed

My family and I went on this tour in April and did enjoy both Positano and Pompeii. What isn't made very clear though is the amount of time spent travelling compared to the time you actually spend at the sites. Positano was the first destination which is a lovely place and very picturesque. The large coach parks outside of the town and they use smaller shuttle buses to ferry you in. You then have around a 15 minute walk down the hill to get to the beach front area. Given the guide only gave us around 1 hour in Positano that meant a very quick look around, take some pics and then start the 15/25 minute walk back up the steep hills. We then had to wait for the shuttle buses back to the main coach, then onto Pompeii. Pompeii itself is amazing, but do not expect to take it all in on this tour - you would easily need a couple of FULL days to explore. Again the tour takes you around certain areas explaining the history, but it's very 'take a quick photo' whilst walking with the group. We had around 2.5 hours in Pompeii. We then had some pizza that was arranged with a restaurant at the end of the tour and back on the coach home. The day worked out around 13+ hours of travelling, but in reality there was only 3-4 hours of that actually at a place sightseeing - the rest is travelling time. Would I still go knowing what I do now - probably yes to be fair. The sites are wonderful and the tour did try to keep things engaged on the coach. I think there is an option of a trip on the train instead for just Pompeii - that might be a better deal to get more time to explore if you're not that bothered about Positano.

Eddy is the best!

Eddy was the best tour guide ever! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the tour and made plenty of jokes along the way. 10/10 would recommend Eddy to everyone

Worst experience travelling, Do Not book with this scammers

I booked a trip to the Monet fundation at Giverny. I was at the place pf the pick up at the correct time and nobody showed, I tried for hours to get a response from customer service and nothing. I had to uber there, which was extremely expensive and adter I was already there, they refused to give me my ticket to enter, so I had to buy another one, and they told me that I could not get pm the bus back to Paris because “O wasn’t at the pick up place, which is a lie. I never encountered this supposed “guide person” so it was all just a scam. Customer service hung up the call and they refused to refund me the money. WORST EXPERIENCE TRAVELLING. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

I wish i could give a 5...

I wish i could give a 5 star to this experience but we had mixed feelings. Our guide, Flavio was a really sweet, nice and smart person, he did a great job, he told us this is his dream job and his passion, so this is not his fault! Pompei and Positano are so lovely places, so I wish we could have spent more time in these places. And not forget to mention our bus rider, Luka, who did an amazing job. We felt really safe in the whole time. The real problem was caused by the organization. The first thing: we spent more time on the bus than in the fresh air, and we were always in a hurry. We couldn't act like real tourists. We were more like pilots in the Formula 1 races. We had only 1,5 hours on Positano, so we couldn't really experience the vibe of the city. Ate an ice cream, walked a little bit, took some photos, then went back to the meeting point, because we can't be late. Then we arrived to Pompei really late, between 4 - 5 o clock. Our Pompei guide was Roberto, who did a great job as well like Flavio. But we saw like 15 % of Pompei. It was a bit disappointing. After we ate our lunch at 6 o clock!!! And did this in a huge rush, it was terrible, some people ate their pizza on the bus... Flavio told us a totally different lunch time, like 4.45 o clock or something like that, so we were really hungry. The Vesuvio restaurant in Pompei was not so good, the outside tables covered by dust and dirt. Maybe its nice in the inside, but I guess the restaurant staff was too lazy to give us a normal and tidy room to eat. The margharita pizza was okay, and the dessert as well. But you will be better if you eat your lunch at a beautiful restaurant in Positano. I understand that the traffic is always different, and you can't always calculate the exact time, but I think this tour would be much more fun if you just organize only a Pompei day or only a Positano day, don't mix the two, because it's not so enjoyable and its just too long and tiring :(

Great view but not enough time

The stairs to the top of the Dome were narrow but easy to climb. Hardest part was the last few to exit onto the top of the Dome. The view was spectacular. My only complaint was our Tour started at 2:30 and the Dome closes at 4pm. They spent so much time initially talking that by the time we got to top of Dome we were rushed to go back down. We only had about 10 minutes at the top. So I recommend scheduling an earlier time.

Der Friedhof ist wirklich sehenswert. Es wäre schön gewesen wenn wir durch die Fahrerin noch mehr berühmten Personen gezeigt hätte.

Der Guide war super nett. Anfangs triffst du dich an einem Ort.Danach gehst du beim Eingang anstehen.(Sicherheitskontrolle)War chaotisch. Musst schauen das du die Gruppe nicht verlierst.Dachte wir könnten schneller rein,da wir ja einen Guide haben.Wenn du drinnen bist,läuft sie schnurstracks zum Eingang der Treppe,da musst du wieder schauen das du die Gruppe nicht verlierst,da sie so schnell unterwegs ist.Auch dort musst du dich wieder anstellen, Tickets holen sie dir dort erst.Danach geht's in die erste Etage,dort erzählt sie dir in 5-10 Min. einem schnellen Englisch die Geschichte des Eifelturms.Danach verabschiedet sie sich.Das war mir das Geld nicht wert.Freundlicher Kondakt,,ganz klar.Aber viel zu teuer,für das was sie bieten.

Die Aussicht war grandios Interessante Führung des Guide Aber das Preis Leistungsverhältniss hat nicht gepasst. Lange Warteschlangen hätte man auch bei normalem Kartenverkauf gehabt,und für 14,80 € pro Erwachsenen und 7,30 € für ein Kind im Alter von 12-24 Jahren

Roberto and Andrea were AMAZING (and so was Nicola in Pompeii!) my boyfriend said he would normally not have been interested in anything historical, but the information was delivered in such a digestible and fun way that he was engaged the whole time!
