I had Fadia as your guide, she is very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Will definitely recommend this tour. On top of the usual description of the sites she gave recommendations for other places to visit, transportation, food and more

Fantastic Vatican Tour
Absolutely incredible tour, some stunning history. Unfortunately we could not go to the basilica. The parts we could visit were amazing and this was improved massively by our tour guide. Being an art historian she had a vast wealth of knowledge on the subject matter. I meant to get her name at the end of the tour - Francesca I think! I would recommend her and this tour to anyone!

Normandy D-Day tour!

Definitely worth it if...
Definitely worth it if looking for a quick experience of Pompeii and Vesuvius as limited tim. Lunch was also provided which was the best Pizza during stay in Italy!

It was a holiday and the museum was extremely crowded and we had signed up for a private tour. My wife’s Alzheimers makes doing stairs very difficult but our guide had tremendous patience and helped her every step. She was not only extremely knowledgeable but she explained the history and beauty of what we saw in ways that my wife could understand. Severine was amazing and made our visit very special.

Highly recommended because of Angela and Sergio
Sergio was a great driver, Angela was the best tour guide. Angela’s stories were engaging, fun to listen to, and she shared so many which gave me a better understanding of roman/Italy’s history and culture. Really glad to have came onto this trip thanks to the guide and driver as I believe they make up for the most of your experience on a guided tour. This is especially after attending other tours on Viator. Even though there were little mishaps due to the long unexpected traffic jam (this is the crazy easter monday week, liberation day and a free museum day for entire of Italy), Angela did a great job managing our expectations and changes to the tour. Highly recommended!

We had a tour with Amy, she was hilarious and kept the tour alive through her descriptions and knowledge. Tours like this can be boring.. but she made it so fun & interesting! The Vatican is absolutely stunning and well worth the guided tour as we wouldn’t have known any of what beauty we were looking at while walking through the museum and Sistine Chapel by ourselves. Also got right through & didn’t have to wait in long lines. 10/10 stars for Amy & this tour!

Heavy on the Museum!
This is a great tour if you like history and art. It was too long with too much information. We picked a bad time to come with the events taking place at the time of our tour. Due to the passing of the Pope and Jubilee, we were unable to see the St. Peter’s Basilica as part of the tour. We were allowed to visit the basilica on our own if we wanted to brave the enormous crowd of people. We did not have time in our schedule to do so. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican.

Very long day but Heather was a hoot!
Our guide Heather was great! Very entertaining and knowledgeable about everywhere we went and some places in between as well. Our driver Romelo was also awesome, there some tight spots getting to Positano and his driving skills are amazing! I will say it’s a very very long day, we left at 830 and got back at 10pm…not sure if there’s an option to do train next time as we took it the next day back to Naples area and it was half the time to get there, just a suggestion. We got to see alot but just a taste, both Positano and Pompeiis are def places to return to and explore more

I wish there was more time at the beaches and museum but what a powerful experience. Well worth the trip. Seeing what these men accomplished under hellish conditions with your own eyes is something you won’t forget

Great experience with tour guide Cristina
Myself and my partner book a day trip to Murano& Burano with Cristina. She has a good knowledge about both places and she recomended us a very good place to eat. What we also liked about her was the fact that is wasn't very intrusive and left us alone while her doing her job. We could not fault her however 1hr 30min (if not less) is not suficient to visit Burano which is a lovely island and I would love to have more time to wonder around & in the shops- we had to rush eat& enter a shop as we had to go back to the meeting point. Highly recomend Cristina : )

High recommend a guided tour!
Don’t try the Louvre on your own! The museum is massive and if you want to see the high points, a tour guide is essential. Ebet was knowledgeable and entertaining. He knew his way around the museum to show us all we wanted to see. The meeting area was easy to spot and the entry process was smooth and efficient.

Great tour!
We went the day after Pope Francis passed away. It wasn’t too busy in the morning surprisingly but the tour guide says it can get pretty bad. Recommend an earlier tour if possible. Our guide Alessandra was an amazing tour guide- she was concise, personable, and made the tour interesting. Basilica was open to see the Pope but unfortunately due to the amount of people lining up we ended up skipping it. If you like museums then this is the tour for you!

Disappointing Experience
I was really looking forward to this Vatican tour, but it fell short of expectations. Our guide was hard to understand and didn’t really answer questions, which made it tough to stay engaged. Despite booking a tour, we still had to stand in a long line, which was frustrating. Most disappointing of all—we didn’t even go into St. Peter’s Basilica, which was one of the main reasons I booked the tour. Overall, not worth the time or money.
