Nice day trip from Rome

Chiara was a great guide. Super helpful and insightful during the entire excursion. Orvieto and Civita were charming and plenty of free time was given to explore each town. The lunch was simple, but the wine did its job of getting some of the tourists to open up a bit.

Great day trip to see real French countryside!!

Highly recommend this trip! John is an excellent guide who is clearly passionate about France, history and beauty and his storytelling set him apart because I felt really immersed in different stories about the royals that lived in the castles we visited so by the time we got there, I felt really connected to the places. It was a nice balance of having a guide but also getting a lot of independence to go through the castles at your own pace and do your own thing. We also stopped in Blais, a gorgeous town in Loire Valley and had lunch and saw some incredible landmarks. It was a perfect day trip.

Highly recommend. Great tour with Emiliano!! Full of insight and humor, this was fully enjoyed by our family, including our 12 and 16 year olds. We all read quite a lot but we learned so much. He’s a captivating guide who brings you right into history with heart and connection. A highlight of our trip to Italy for sure!

You definitely needed a guide on Easter weekend, very crowded. She helped navigate us to all the important sites and gave us information on them.

Stunning and a must do!

The Vatican Museums are truly stunning and overwhelming. We had a wonderful tour guide - Chiara. She was super knowledgeable and shepherded us through the maze that is the Vatican Museums- that is no small feat! This was the most crowded experience we did in Rome. You absolutely need a guide- otherwise I think it would be impossible. Our group was pretty big (18 I think?) but we had these electronic headsets to hear our guide talk. She was amazing especially considering that when you take tour groups through, the museum can randomly close off certain sections. In other words- there's a lot of improvisation that these guides need to do! The day we went St. Peter's Basilica was closed, but in hindsight I don't know how we would have packed that in. It's also kinda far from the museum, so I guess we got MORE time in the museum. This was an amazing experience - it is definitely a must-do in Rome. The three hours absolutely flew by. Totally worth it!

Definitely recommend this your. It is a different Paris experience, but worthwhile. You need to see this cemetery.

Buyer Beware - Do Not Book With This Company

I would not recommend using this company. On April 15th we booked an English Murano & Burano Islands Guided Small-Group Tour by Private Boat for 8:30 AM on April 17th, 2025, but when our flight from Minneapolis missed our connection to Italy we were not able to make the tour. We contacted Viator to cancel the tour on April 16th immediately when we landed - but were informed we were 2 hours late in notifying them (because we were still in flight on the plane when their 24 hour deadline came). They were totally unhelpful and denied our request and would not even offer a partial refund or anything. Basically we just donated $160 US dollars to them and did not receive anything in return except frustration and regret during an already stressful situation with our missed connecting flight. I generally make it a habit to avoid writing negative reviews for companies - but in this case I feel compelled to do so - so absolutely - I would not recommend using this company!

Chateau Chenonceaux and Chambord Tour

My wife and I took the tour to Chateau Chenonceaux and Chambord with John as our guide. We had a great experience as both castles are beautiful. It was super easy finding the Catacombs where the bus li led us up. John provided a nice amount of history and humor while also letting us rest between stops. He joined us for the wine tasting offering which was entertaining. John is super friendly and a great guide. I highly recommend the tour.

Exceptional Guide

The tour was very instructional and comprehensive. Many insights that only a true Florentine would be able to relate. Stephanie was exceptional and knowledgeable and shared with us her obvious love of Florence. We'd recommend this tour to others and express how much of a pleasure it was to spend our afternoon with Stephanie!
