This was one of my bucket list. The feeling, and history of the area are amazing. The guide of the tour were very knowledge of the history of the site.

Terrible..
City wonders was terrible. Most of the tour was understandably canceled but no discount as other companies did, and audio equipment was unusable. Everyone left before tour was over. Never again.

AWFUL DO NOT BOOK
Extremely disappointed with the “Changing of the Guards” tour. The guide was nearly impossible to hear, no headsets were provided (despite the crowds), and the group was so poorly managed that we were separated halfway through and couldn’t finish the tour. When I raised these issues, the company dismissed them and offered only a 10% refund—despite the fact that we received only a fraction of the service we paid for. Completely unacceptable. I won’t be booking with this company again, and I would not recommend them to others.

Take at Your Own Risk
When it was time to return to the departure location after exploring Positano, I took a wrong turn and ended up walking up 1,000 steps up toward the main road. I am 77 years old so it was very exhausting when I reached the departure location. I was so surprised to learn that the tour group had left without me. I was about 15 minutes late. After a frantic search. I found a group with the same name as City Wonders. They allowed me to ride back with them and I was eventually reunited with my origin group.

Can’t miss experience
This was a wonderful experience. The views of the Alps were breathtaking both on the bus ride and especially from the train. Our guide Monica was amazing. She was super knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. A shout out to our bus driver Jon Vito who made the ride seem easy even though the winding road up the mountain was certainly challenging. St. Moritz was a lovely town to visit with the chance to taste some chocolate samples. Monica kept the group on schedule to make sure we made the most of our time but always kept it fun. Strongly recommend putting this tour in your plans.

Our guide, Addie, was highly knowledgeable, personable and considerate of those of us with impaired mobility - which helped considerably in light of the crowds.

Do not recommend
There’s nothing about this tour that lets you skip the line. You still have to wait in the long lines. Very misleading but that wasn’t even the worst part. I’ve done many audio guide tours before and this was by far the worst. Usually audio guide tours include the audio guide from the museum itself. Not this one. It’s their own audio guide they created on an app. They did not make this clear before purchasing. It’s hard to follow and misses a lot of information. Waste of money.

Louvre tour late April 2025
Omar was a great guide. While there was no way to see the entire museum he made us feel satisfied in the 3 hours we spent with him. Late April is a tremendous time to visit Paris weather wise but the crowds are still big especially later in the day and particularly on May Day (1 May).

Beautiful places; great trip
Superb trip. Elly, our guide, was really good - very informative, and friendly. Plenty of time at each of the islands, and good opportunities to explore, beyond the scheduled glass and lace demonstrations.

Eiffel
Exceptional tour. It was a holiday, May 1st so the line was a little longer than perhaps normal, but it took us overall about 1 hour to get in to start climbing the stairs. Phenomenal time. Daniel, the tour guide was just fantastic and some other people said who walked by him, 'He's the best in the west, east, north and south." Agreed!

Great Museum Tour, but Sistine Chapel Closed
Due to the rare situation where the Vatican is preparing for a Conclave to elect a new Pope, we were not able to go into the Sistine Chapel nor the Basilica. This was very disappointing however, our guide to the Vatican Museum was excellent, especially her knowledge of the history of the various artifacts and paintings. There is a lot of walking and a lot of stairs. If you ask an official, there are hidden elevators.

Great tour. Lousy guide.
Some things are beyond control. The tour company, for example, had no control over the Pope’s death, the timing of Conclave, or the closure of the Sistine Chapel. I get it. It happens. I also understand that this was a CRAZY busy time to be visiting Rome and Vatican City. This was truly history in the making. And for that, the general experience of being within the walls of the Vatican Museum was incredible. The collection is overwhelming and must be seen. That being said, our tour guide, Stephanie, was rude, impatient, rushed, and didn’t answer the questions we asked. Her English was perfect, as she was originally from Canada. Her demeanor and tone were very off-putting. When we asked questions, she brushed them aside or answered something entirely different. In general, she was dismissive and focused only on things she seemed interested in. I would absolutely recommend the Vatican Museum tour. I’m not entirely sure I’d recommend the tour company. And I definitely could not recommend this guide.

Didn’t even get to go
Google directions directly pasted from the Viator app sent us to the wrong parking lot. We were early and when we realized this was a mistake we attempted to contact our operator. We couldn’t reach them in time and missed our bus as a result. The actual stop described by city wonders was under construction and made the whole thing very confusing as a new traveller. All they offered us in return was a 50 euro per person reschedule, to a date that we won’t even be in the city anymore. We lost our full fare due to this, and while it was partially our fault, their policies almost feel designed to set up foreigners for losing their money. We learned on our own that we could bus to lake Como for a WAY cheaper price, where we got all the time we wanted to explore. None of the local attractions are better done with a guide. So unless your goal is to see as many cities as possible, just travel on your own.

Truly an amazing...
Truly an amazing experience. This day was by far my favorite of our trip to Rome. Our tour guides throughout were exceptional, and we learned a lot of new things about Italy's food and culture. The guided tour through Pompeii was educational, and the ability to explore Amalfi on our own was a nice touch, so we could see the parts we specifically wanted to explore.

An absolute must!
This guided tour for Pompeii was fantastic. Our tour leader Vivianna was amazing, as was our guide in Pompeii, Roberto. The tour is only a whistle stop tour of Pompeii, you could easily spend 8+hours wondering around the vast ruins, good mobility is a must. Personally I wasn't a fan of Postiano it was for too crowded for my liking and it wasn't peak season (late April). Food options ... there is a service stop about 90 minutes into the journey (same place on return) and a delicious take away pizza option at Pompeii where the bus Parks. Take a water bottle with you, the only shop is before you enter the archaeological site but there's no time to stop there. Bottlescan be refilled at the fountains in Pompeii.

Made the Louvre easy!
I’m so glad we chose a guided tour! It made getting in SO much quicker and easier. We also learned a lot more than had we just ran in to see the Mona Lisa. Great information and saves time/frustration of getting in and finding what you want to see. Our tour guide, Addy, was so fun and knowledgeable! She made it very enjoyable.
