Great experience. One thing to watch out for is to not forget to bring a raincoat and an umbrella. All in all, I’d do it again.

Pompei - An excursion on a Leger Holiday

The trip to Pompei was an excursion whilst on a Leger Luxuria tour. Whilst Pompei was an amazing experience, it was let down by the guide. Our wonderful drivers,Anthea & Steve, informed the guide of the time we had to be back on the coach & also that we were to have some free time & lunch. The guide set off on a route march,no free time ,no lunch.This was noted & reported back by our drivers. Hey, ho,these things happen. Thankfully, it was a sunny day,with Mount Vesuvius in clear view.Photo opportunities around every corner. Panoramic views of surrounding area too. Very atmospheric. A lot of the ground is uneven,gaps between cobbles,sensible footwear essential. The Book on sale in the Souvenir shop is well worth the €19.99. To cover the whole site would require one to two full days.

Good but wish longer for garden portion

Very busy. Great guide but not through the garden portion. Very hard to see the garden even though 2 hrs are given. I should have booked the tour with the train ride ( a little train that takes you around the garden) didn't see that till after.

Great guide an actual archaeologist himself he had deep and passionate insight into everything we visited extremely professional and my son is in Uni studying to to the same he absolutely loved it Highly recommended operator.

Fantastic day trip!

Tour was fantastic! Both Sophia and Lilly were excellent tour guides! We especially enjoyed Lilly’s flare in explaining what life was like for King Louis XIV, XV, and XVI as well as Marie Antoinette.

Fantastic tour - Claire was amazing!

We had a great time on the day trip to Murano and Burano. Claire was an excellent guide, friendly and super knowledgable. The glass demonstration was great to see, and Burano is beautiful to visit. Highly recommend this if you're in Venice - and worth doing on a tour rather than via the public transport boats as you get all the great info from your guide! :)

Word of warning Cinque...

Word of warning Cinque Terre is very crowded. In addition the walk to and from the train was very long and the walks are difficult because of the hills. That being said the scenery is very quaint and pretty.

Der Ausblick war wundervoll und die Führung war sehr informativ. Die 700 Stufen waren gar nicht so schlimm, war ein gutes Workout. Können wir nur empfehlen.

Recommended, but understand that this is a long day and an ambitious itinerary.

It's a long day. Large crowds and heavy traffic caused us to cut short the Amalfi portion of the trip. Our guide was excellent; problems were not in her control.

The experience was great. We loved the time we got to spend at Bellagio. We didn’t like the fact that we didn’t get to spend enough time in Switzerland. We barely got an hour.

Loire Valley Castle

Visiting Loire Valley Castle was like stepping into a real-life fairytale. The castle’s dramatic towers and ornate architecture are nothing short of breathtaking. The view from the fountain is especially stunning—perfect for photos that look like they belong in a fantasy novel. Inside, the tour was well-organized and informative, though a bit brief on time. The lavish interior rooms, and gold finishes was just touches of magic. That said, be prepared for crowds, especially in peak season. I recommend booking tickets
