Leider ist die offizielle Seite des Vatikans zur Buchung kaum zu gebrauchen. Die Tickets hier sind sehr teuer. Der Audioguide ist leider nicht wirklich brauchbar, da die Nummern nicht mit den offiziellen Nummern übereinstimmen.

An early start was excellent! Although Peter was outstanding, he could have had an extra pair of hands for 30+ guests. The long wait for the (minority) runaway people could have been avoided. The majority could have better use of that time (an earlier commute back to Rome).

Pompeii Guided Tour with Skip The Line Access

We still had to queue for about 45 minutes to get into Pompeii but this was a recent development that is an issue for all tour groups. It may be quicker to buy a ticket at the door, but the stress of finding you own way around the site and the small details that would be missed would really diminish the enjoyment and education of your visit. Our guide was kind and even though we got in late, they did not reduce the time spent on our group. Highly recommended.
