South Africans visit D-Day beaches
Ash was a knowledgeable guide who managed to keep a diverse coach load of people, from very young to pensioners engaged. He was affable, friendly and helpful, providing useful, practical information, such as the best way to return to the hotel after the tour. I am keen on military history and have read a great deal about Operations Overlord and Neptune, while my wife had little interest. Both thoroughly enjoyed the tour - the mark of an excellent guide.

Excellent tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Paul's Bascilica.
The tour group met in the designated meeting place at the designated time. The tour group had several guides, who split the attendees into groups of 20. Our tour guide, David, was exceptional.

Do it!
Our experience didn’t start out great. The meeting point was a little chaotic and the man handing out headsets and headphones was really rude to the people in our group and was even more disrespectful to our amazing tour guide, Ana. The only other mishap was our first stop— but it wasn’t really the tour guides fault, it was the tourists who didn’t listen to instruction. Took half hour to get everyone sync’d when we already got sync’d at our meeting point. Aside from that, the experience was delightful. We saw a lot of the beautiful Tuscan side and ventured through some new towns we hadn’t seen or heard of before. The two highlights of the trip were the lunch at the winery (lovely and welcoming family, delicious lunch and beautiful history/location.) The second would be Ana, our guide. She was so friendly and informative. She made the experience feel personal. She has way more knowledgeable than any other tour I’ve ever been on in Rome / surrounding areas.

Great tour guide!
Daniel was great. Very energetic and full of knowledge. The food for lunch was disappointing however. The restaurant did not have enough seats for me to be seated with my husband and my three year old together. The food was also cold when served.

Best Sagrada Família Tour!
Olga was an amazing tour guide at the Sagrada Família! From start to finish, everything felt seamless, even in the pouring rain. She adapted effortlessly to the conditions and made sure the group still had the best possible experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and interactive with our group, which made the entire experience both informative and genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommend Olga if you want a memorable and well-run visit!

Amazing tuscany day trip
Loved our tour guide Ana and our driver Francesco. Ana not only shared personal experiences but also made it a point to get to know everyone. Francesco offered a hand every time you got off the bus and kindly taught my husband and I italian the whole ride. This was an awesome tour, not too much driving as they break it up and the stops are all amazing. Highly recommend and I recommend with these two.

Loved it!
We had such a great day visiting Pompeii & Sorrento. Erika was extremely informative, friendly & funny. We learnt a lot! Highly recommend walking to the sea front in Sorrento, it was beautiful! We felt that the stop at the Limoncello factory could have been skipped to allow an extra 30 minutes at Pompeii. Tip for travellers: there’s a stop on the journey for toilets, food & drink so you don’t need to take loads with you. We would definitely book with City Wonders again!

Great day exploring Murano and Burano
We really enjoyed our trip to Murano and Burano. They both had very different things to offer but I would say a must do if in Venice. On the boat it was lovely to hear about Venice and its history from our lovely guide Sylvia. She was friendly, engaging and very informative throughout the whole trip. I’m glad we chose this tour rather than going it alone as Sylvia added so much more to our visit.

Very enjoyable day!
My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Ash , was very personable, funny, and knowledgeable about the sites we were seeing. We particularly liked how organized he was, how he kept us informed of the plan and that he kept everyone on the bus on schedule. The sites we visited were very interesting and the experience was a powerful one. I would definitely recommend this tour to others interested in touring the World War II D-Day sites in Normandy.

Amy was excellent in her knowledge and her descriptions as well as making the history telling exciting! We highly recommend her as a guide in the Vatican! She’s very articulate and personable and thorough.

Must Do If You Are In Paris

A great way to experience the Vatican tomorrow
This was an amazingly efficient way to see and learn about the Vatican. Our guide Lorenzo was very knowledgeable and well versed on the art and history laid out before us. Only complaint was the tour description did not clearly mention stairs except as a meeting point. As someone who is mobility challenged it was a little awkward and hard to keep up with the group. There are many stairs. Difficult but not impossible. To be honest I would have crawled up the stairs to see the artistic and historical wonders we were exposed to. Grateful for the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day in Rome and the Vatican.
