This was a great way of avoiding the queue but our guide was quite rushed and seemed too keen to get us to the end so we could do the dome climb which we were free to do at any point. It would have been nice to have got some more information about the building itself including the decorative exterior and who painted the dome fresco not just who built it. Overall worth it to miss the queue but don’t expect too much from the “guided tour!”

we were met with an unfortunate weather issue preventing us from seeing Vesuvius. They refunded us 20% which was too small in my opinion. The fault was not on the tour guide/bus. They were fantastic and the lunch was amazing. However we missed an important part of the excursion which to us was worth more than a 20% discount, refunded back by the tour company. Would’ve given a higher review, maybe a 5 star even had the tour company been more fair in providing a bigger refund, after all we did not pay all that money to ride a bus for 13 hrs. It was to see both Pompei AND Vesuvius.

Great experience! Our guides, Michelle and Angela, did an excellent job explaining everything and keeping us entertained during the trip (around 1-hour bus ride). The place itself is relatively small, but with everything there is to see, the duration of the visit feels just right. You can also visit Monet’s grave or the Impressionism Museum (museum tickets are sold separately), as they are all located in the same area.

Our trip today was wonderful! Michelle and Angela were entertaining and so knowledgeable about Monet’s life and artworks. The tour allowed us to skip the line which saved us a lot of time which is definitely worth it. Even with the rainy weather the gardens were gorgeous. Highly recommend!!

Belle excursion avec un arrêt à l’usine de limoncello malgré tout inutile à part pour le commerce. On trouve les mêmes produits ailleurs et bien moins chers… Sorrento est une belle cité balnéaire et évidement Pompéi qui ne se rate pas. Très bonne organisation, certes le trajet en bus (confortable mais sans prise pour recharger) est un peu long mais ces visites sont à faire. On regrettera la voix de notre guide Heather avec un débit de paroles un peu élevé (un style so British) , bravo aux guides a Pompéi par contre.

Selve turen var fin, og guiden var helt fantastisk, men det var noget skuffende at billetterne til toppen ikke var købt så turen til toppen blev aflyst og pengene skal refunderes. Vi blev anbefalet at forsøge en anden dag, men det er ikke noget vi havde kalkuleret med i rejsedage at skulle sætte to dage af til samme attraktion. 😢
