Trip to Monet’s home and gardens

Spectacular experience but not for the physically or vision impaired

There are lots of steps and if you choose to use a wheelchair the tour group can’t cater for you because you need to travel a different route to the main group. Which is a challenge given the volume of people accessing the site. My wife chose not to take the tour because of this. How ever the art, architecture and history are truly amazing.

Don’t trust Viator with your money!!

Don’t trust this company. Their system had a bug and booked the trip for the day I was making the transaction instead of the date I was searching for travel. Even though I contacted them within 1 minute of the booking they have not refunded my money NOR move the reservation to the correct. Worse yet when I entered my initial review Viator responded stating to contact them “so they could have the opportunity to make this right”. Yes I contacted them again and AGAIN they have denied a refund and refused to call me back!! Yet they put a statement in a public forum to make you all think they are resolving but they haven’t. Don’t trust this company.

Absolutely brilliant, Pompei is amazing and I’m so glad we got to see it! Sorrento is a gorgeous place with gift shops, great views, lovely people and very clean and pretty. Our bus driver was great and very safe and our tour guide was such a lovely lady and very knowledgeable. We had authentic Italian pizza in the evening after a lovely day, and I would recommend it to anyone. Please note that the limoncello factory is very expensive. TIP: Don’t buy anything because when you get to Sorrento it's a fraction of the price. Also when you get to Sorrento we found the cheapest couple of shops for fridge magnets, key rings and gifts in general are the first couple you come across down the long lane of shops. We could have honestly spent a whole day in Sorrento and Pompei and are planning to come back and stay there so we can do just that. Many thanks!
