South Africans visit D-Day beaches
Ash was a knowledgeable guide who managed to keep a diverse coach load of people, from very young to pensioners engaged. He was affable, friendly and helpful, providing useful, practical information, such as the best way to return to the hotel after the tour. I am keen on military history and have read a great deal about Operations Overlord and Neptune, while my wife had little interest. Both thoroughly enjoyed the tour - the mark of an excellent guide.

Burano is a Must

Great day exploring Murano and Burano
We really enjoyed our trip to Murano and Burano. They both had very different things to offer but I would say a must do if in Venice. On the boat it was lovely to hear about Venice and its history from our lovely guide Sylvia. She was friendly, engaging and very informative throughout the whole trip. I’m glad we chose this tour rather than going it alone as Sylvia added so much more to our visit.

David-yes; guide Uffizi-no
We LOVED seeing David and having the tour of the Accademia Gallery with Polina. She shared much information at a good pace and in an easy-to-understand way! WONDERFUL tour!! We did not enjoy the tour of Uffizi as much. Marcello had much knowledge but after a short while it became information overload. His presentation was sometimes hard to understand and his voice and inflections did not vary as much. Maybe we were just tired from the first tour but the one of Uffizi seemed to go on forever and be overwhelming. I would recommend walking thru Uffizi on your own if you are a casual art lover and leaving the guided tour to true students of art or art-philes.

Colosseum + forum tour breakdown
Hisam (the Egyptian one! 🤣) was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable about the colosseum, forum, and the wider Roman Empire/republic. We asked lots of questions about cleopatra, mark antony, Nero, and you could see how passionate he was about the subject. Couldn’t recommend more highly, if you can pick a tour guide pick Hisam (apologies if we have misspelt!).

Fantastic Tour Guide
This is a fantastic tour! Our guide Fredericka was above and beyond. She was kind, attentive and so very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. My only complaint would be I wanted more time on Burano because I loved it so much!

Guide did not show, and they will not refund despite proof
The guide did not show up and was not there as scheduled. I waited and waited, and was not able to contact them. They did not refun my money even though I have evidence of them not responding to my questions of their whereabouts,
