Overall I thought this was a great trip. We were staying in Rome but wanted to see Tuscany, get a taste of wine and the local food, and we did just that. I felt like our time was used wisely and efficiently. I did not particularly care for the stop on the way to, and leaving Tuscany. The sample place felt like someone trying to sell us something. It was a bit of a weird vibe. The tour guide told us it would be cheaper at this place and we did not find that to be the case (with leather, food products, etc.) Additionally, loading the bus for a 3 hour ride felt like a free for all. I don’t think all families/couples got to sit together. I would have liked for the tour guide to take a bit of control and ensure to the best of their ability that they can sit together.

I thought I was going to see a vineyard. We only saw the barrels. Also, the wine that was served to us was a tiny amount, barely enough to taste.

Our guide (Marius) and driver (Giovanni) were both amazing! Only downside was other day trippers being disrespectful. Regardless, we’d definitely recommend and do again.
