Bran Castle is a classic tourist attraction also known as Dracula's Castle. In my visit I had a tour guide through the Castle who spoke perfect English and explained what we were looking at in each of the different areas. For new visitors, I'd recommend paying more for the guided tour, torture room and time tunnel as it makes for the best experience. Going later in the day (on a business day) past 4pm generally allows for quick entry as the lines are either short or no line at all. The local markets are full of Vlad the Impaler swag, trinkets, hats, cups, beer mugs, etc. The town of Bran also has lots of lodging locations and restaurants as well as grocery stores. If you're driving, I'd recommend parking at one of the larger lots, and ask the parking lot manager when they close as some close by 7pm, meaning you have to take your vehicle and exit by or before that time. Parking rates are reasonable for a tourist location, with some places charging you upon exit. If you're being from the market and intend to buy more than 6 items from a single vendor, don't shy away from bargaining as it's expected and generally you'll get a slightly better deal than paying outright. Buying less than 5 items may not be worth the hassle to bargain unless those items are "expensive" say, 150 Lei or more. Overall, worth the trip there. For a family of 4, if you reach early by 10AM, you can generally get through all the touristy stuff by evening.
