Very busy and expensive. We had the most expensive priority ticket and still ended up seeing only 4-5 rooms, most of the castle is only for marketing and stories. Nothing cool to see only some clothes, a replica of the crown, old torturing tools and knifes/ swords. And most of it is designed to scary children. All fake, all for money. And busy like hell

Here, overtourism meets maximum profit maximization. Instead of sensibly limiting visitor numbers, it seems every paying guest is being squeezed in – at the expense of the visitor experience. My conclusion: The castle is absolutely worth seeing from the outside and makes for wonderful photos. However, you can safely skip the entrance fee. Das Ergebnis: Bereits vor dem Eingang wartet man in einer langen Schlange, und im Schloss selbst schiebt man sich im Stop-and-Go-Tempo durch die engen Gänge – von einem entspannten Rundgang oder der Möglichkeit, sich die Ausstellungsstücke in Ruhe anzusehen, kann keine Rede sein. Hier trifft Overtourism auf maximale Gewinnorientierung. Statt die Besucherzahlen sinnvoll zu begrenzen, wird offenbar jeder zahlende Gast mitgenommen – auf Kosten des Besuchserlebnisses. Mein Fazit: Das Schloss ist von außen absolut sehenswert und lässt sich wunderbar fotografieren. Den Eintritt kann man sich jedoch getrost sparen. Das Geld ist an anderer Stelle deutlich besser investiert, als für einen Rundgang im Menschenstau zu bezahlen.
