Beautiful castle, but packed with tourists in February, so buy tickets in advance. Reachable by bus from Brasov, so car isn't necessary.

No recomendaría entrar al túnel del tiempo porque es caro para lo que ofrece. La unica pega es que no hay aforo permitido, hay mucha gente y lo mas molesto son los grupos que hacen tours.

I read many reviews saying this castle is a tourist trap and was considering if I need to go or not and some locals convinced to do it. I had no any expectations and I was really impressed in the end. The castle itself is amazing building and the story behind these walls is really interesting. I choose the full price ticket including the Torture exhibition (20 Lei - €2) and exit through the tunnel and I may only say the ‘Time tunnel’ is absolutely waste of money. That’s the only part I didn’t like and not worth it the price of 30 Lei (€6).
