Středověké zdi nasákly příběhy, které šeptají vítr v prasklinách kamene. Každý krok po dřevěných schodech zněl jako ozvěna dávných tajemství. Atmosféra byla hustá jako transylvánská noc. I kdyby Drákula nikdy neexistoval, Bran by si vystačil se svým kouzlem. Ale právě ta hrůzná legenda dává místu špetku zakázaného koření. Odcházel(a) jsem s husí kůží – ne ze strachu, ale z dojetí. Hrad Bran není jen hnízdo mýtů. Je to brána do duše starého folkloru. A ta duše mě do sebe vtáhla jako noc pohlcující den.
