Very nice castle. We had a tour guide with us so the experience was even better. Tickets are very cheap and the castle is impressive, especially the courtyard. There is a lot of history and interesting facts involved in this experience. You can extend your ticket and get additional experiences like torture chamber, also worth it and gives access to otherwise concealed, big part of the castle. Looks good both inside and out. You can nearly feel the current of history flowing through the place. Our visit was during the day and it was impressive I can only imagine how impressive it looks at night with the full moon in the background.

Reviewing this castle is pretty difficult, considering that everything has been analysed by other people. Overall me and my girlfriend really enjoyed the experience, especially as i am a big fan of medieval-like castles. The castle has nothing to do with count dracula, but still is magnificent. Worth to explore all rooms and even pay extra for the torture chambers (time tunnel not really worth it). It's a bit expensive (15-25€ depending on what you choose) but i think it's worth it.

I came to Drakula's castle with two of my friends, it was nice and interesting to walk around the castle and to view the different historical items. But this is a one-time experience for me. I don't think that I will ever go there again. And also, we kind of got scammed there because we paid 90 leis for the "time machine" and there was nothing in there. It was just an elevator that took us to the ground floor instead of walking down the stairs.

Very interesting experience. We stayed in Brasov the night before which is gorgeous, and allowed us to arrive at 08:00 am so there were no lines or crowds. It takes about two hours and by the time we were finishing a lot of people were arriving. It seems the most common way to visit is a bus tour from Bucharest, but I’d suggest getting a hotel in Brasov and staying there for a couple of days and arranging a driver or bus tour (or rent a car) as the surrounding area is worth visiting. The castle is cool, small and interesting history.

Frankly, I can't believe how this place has a 4.3 rating with 100K reviews. Let's start with the fairy tale of Dracula. The castle obviously has nothing to do with him and even when I knew that, I was still left disappointed. It's very old so it's not as pretty as Peles Palace so it makes sense that it would have less interesting decorations inside but I was still expecting some nice historical information about the place. The information was scarce and instead I was met with terrible decorations like the red roses you see in the pictures and some rooms with projectors showing vampyres that made me feel like I was in a kid's theme park. All of these, to sell the myth of Vlad Tepes, but there wasn't even any information about him apart from the entrance room. The whole atmosphere of the place felt like, it had had all of its charm sucked out of it, only for it to be replaced with inferior tourist-attracting decorations that ruined the style and aesthetic. Once again, I can't believe how this has a 4.3 score. It's a waste of money and time. To the castle's defense, the only good part about it was the historical information about the princesses Marie and Iliana that lived there a century ago.
