Tickets are an absolute rip-off, far too expensive. Insanely overcrowded. Can barely get to the exhibits to read what they are without pushing people or being pushed. Slow moving, frustrating experience. I recommend going to see the castle from the outside, and reading/listening about it whilst you are there. The ticket to go inside was a very regrettable purchase.

This is the worst touring trap ever. I can't even begin to describe how bad that experience was. Worst tourist sight I ever visited. The castle itself is fine. Nice from outside. Average inside. It would be otherwise probably fine. Even nice, if you never saw any European castle, BUT there are WAY to many people. Not just there is a queue outside, there is a queue THE WHOLE time. Avoid at all costs. The price is not worth it, Dracula connection is a lie (there is one crappy room to take a photo with a plastic statue) and there are 10x too many people there.

Extremely overcrowded. You are crammed in with hundreds of people barely able to move. The castle itself is totally unremarkable and like an average random castle in places like the Czech Republic. There’s barely anything inside and they didn’t even bother to at least properly milk the fake Dracula connection they use to lure everyone here. Genuinely one of the worst tourist attractions I’ve ever visited.
