I hate to say it, but I was really disappointed with Bran Castle. I have visited many castles in Europe in different countries and maybe I had higher expectations for this than I should have :( it wasn’t too expensive, it was just not entirely authentic if you are into history and architecture.) The most interesting part to me, was learning about Queen Marie of Romania (she must have been an amazing woman!) skip the extra € for the elevator and torture room (not worth it at all)

Bran Castle is of course one of the main attractions in Romania because of the story about Dracula. I would highly recommend understanding the story relating to it, as it's not really about vampires haha. The castle itself has a steep walk up, so if you have mobility issues please be cautious and take your time. Inside it's quite small and generally narrow, so if there's lots of visitors it's not as enjoyable to peruse. We went on a snowy day in Feb and it definitely added to the gothic allure of the castle. Architecturally it wasn't that interesting inside, but from the outside it looks quite cool!

Es la atracción turística más saturada de Rumanía así vas a ver más gente que castillo, recomiendo comprar la entrada con antelación, en la web del castillo. Y la mejor hora las 3, cierra a las 5 así que esa última media hora es tranquila. Como opinión personal le sobran un montón de rosas rojas de plastiquete, las habitaciones con fantasmas y alguna otra chorradasda, da un poco de sensación de parque de atracciones y es una pena porque de verdad que no lo necesita.
