Honestly, this is probably the least interesting castle I've been to in Romania (and as a whole). It's cool to look at it from the park below but that's it. It's definitely not worth the money since it's overpriced because of its overhyped reputation. I wouldn't recommend visiting it if one's not a huge Dracula fan, for example.

A quaint place with charming surrounding. Really enjoyed walk about in this medieval castle. Just don’t think the time-tunnel particularly lived up to my expectations. All in all, a great trip for the kids and us too!

I expected it to be a little eerie :) but it wasn't. Regardless, I enjoyed the tour of the castle and the view when you're up at the top. There's a lot of walking up and down stairs, not to forget a cobble stone path leading up to the entrance, so WEAR COMFY FLAT shoes!!
