We (a group of 4 of us) went to Bran castle as part of a tour. 3 of us bought our tickets online and 1 of us bought our tickets while we were physically there. Tickets cost us €14.06 to get in. Online you can pay by card and at the castle you can pay by both cash and card. We had lots of time to tour the castle (but felt rushed at the end when we were going to buy souvenirs).

Arriving ahead of schedule at Bran Castle, securing tickets on-site proved straightforward. However, the necessity of advance booking for guided tours was an unexpected detail. A brief ten-minute queue preceded entry into the bustling castle grounds, yet the overall experience left a strong impression. Navigating the castle's interior felt like traversing an up and down labyrinth, adding an element of intrigue to the visit. Opting for additional access to the torture chamber and timeline tunnel, the former presented a stark display of historical instruments accompanied by detailed descriptions, demanding a certain fortitude from visitors but ultimately proving worthwhile. Conversely, the timeline tunnel fell short, marred by a non-functional introductory video in the elevator and somewhat un-engaging interactive displays in the lower chamber, situated 32 meters beneath the courtyard. Despite this particular disappointment, the remainder of our exploration at Bran Castle aligned with our expectations, making it a generally satisfying outing.

Tourist trap is an understatement. Literally one of the worst attractions i’ve seen, the whole place feels like a cheap amusement park. Kind of an interesting old building to see from the outside but don’t waste your time or money going to see this. Also has nothing to do with dracula
