Do this ONLY if your guide is also taking you to Peles Castle (Which is closed two days of the week). This is crowded and such a mediocre experience. If you decide to go, consider the fast pass to only wait between 15 and 20 min. nonetheless, it was a line INSIDE the castle to see the rooms, so there’s no scape. România offers better.

Not that interesting. Rather small. If you have been to Peles Castle, Bran's one is a bit boring.

A Huge Disappointment – Way Too Expensive and Extremely Crowded Honestly, I expected much more from Bran Castle. In my opinion, the experience is absolutely not worth the price of the ticket. It is very expensive for what it actually offers, and I had the impression that everything is focused more on making money and commercializing the attraction than on providing visitors with a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The crowding is ridiculous. There are huge numbers of people squeezed into the narrow corridors and stairways, and at times it feels like you are simply being pushed along by the crowd from one room to another. You barely have any time or space to stop, look around, or read the information about the castle. It is also extremely hot inside, which, combined with the crowds and narrow spaces, makes the whole visit even more uncomfortable. I was left with the impression that the castle takes full advantage of its reputation as “Dracula’s Castle” and the huge number of tourists coming to see it. Unfortunately, for me, the experience felt more like mass tourism and commercial exploitation than a visit to an important historical site. The castle looks impressive from the outside and the location is beautiful, but the interior, the overcrowding, and the price simply do not justify the experience. In my opinion, if you are in the area, it is worth seeing the castle from the outside, but I would not pay for the interior visit again. Too expensive, far too crowded, extremely hot inside, and seemingly far too focused on making money

2nd visit in 2026, Castle and surroundings are much improved since 10 years back. Washrooms are clean, self ticket machines.
