Nice castle. No, nothing to really do with Vlad or Dracula, but as a castle and with its real history, it's quite interesting and nice. Walk up is a fairly steep path up, then plenty of stairs inside, so mobility challenged are likely to have significant difficulty. We went mid week and were parked by 11, plenty of spaces left even when we left around 1400. Ticket kiosks are right at the entrance, easy to navigate (follow the instructions hanging above every machine) so in my opinion wasn't necessary to buy in advance. If it was terribly busy I can see buying tickets to be a hassle, there is no room for a line between where you get the tickets, and where the entrance gate is. Prices outside the paid area of the castle grounds really aren't terrible (2€ for a Turkish coffee for instance), not nearly as marked up as I expected. Even inside the paid area, the little cafe didn't seem to overcharge for drinks which is greatly appreciated. Inside the castle was well kept, and the scenery was great! Pretty easy walk from the parking lot to the castle, which worried us based on prior reviews, thinking we needed to find a bus, etc. We had some in the group in their 70's (without mobility problems) and they easily did the walk and castle.
