Bit of a scam because it’s unbelievably crowded. The queue is at least 1 hour long but for another 60 RON (10€) you can skip it with the fast lane. Little did we know that the whole visit of the castle is a queue itself… they just let too many people in. Inside the castle you’ll find an exhibition that is quite confusing because it is going back and forth between the real history of Romania and the royal family and the fictional character of Dracula. To be honest, overall it is worth seeing only if you have some spare time. If not you can take some beautiful pictures anyway from the back side of the castle.
