It's the biggest tourist trap ever. It's supposed to be the Dracula's castle but it has nothing to do with the dracula. It's just a beautiful castle and they filed the rooms with random objects. They even have a room about ghost and spectres. Most of the times is full of visitors. We had to wait an hour in the queue to enter. And even inside is full of people so you can not enjoy it so much. There are much nicer castles to visit in Romania.

This was one of the most overrated tourist attractions I’ve ever visited. The tickets are expensive, and we had to wait in line for about an hour and a half just to get inside the castle. There is an option to pay extra to “skip the line,” but in reality both lines merge at the entrance, so many people just cut in without paying more – and there was no control or organization whatsoever. Once you finally get inside, don’t expect relief from the queue. You basically shuffle through the castle in a long line, unable to stop and read anything about the exhibits because you’ll block the people behind you. As for the actual history of the place, there’s very little presented. Instead, several rooms are tackily dedicated to “Dracula” with cheap Halloween-style decorations and dimmed lights, which felt more like a tourist trap than a historical site. We spent only about 30 minutes walking through the whole castle – less than a third of the time we wasted standing in line. For the price, it’s simply not worth it. There are much better, more authentic castles to visit in the area for a fraction of the cost – for example, Feldioara Fortress. I would not recommend visiting Bran Castle.
