Our guide seemed uninspired and did little to bring the history or uniqueness of the castle to life. The interior itself is underwhelming, and there are certainly more impressive castles to visit in Romania. Overall, the place feels like a tourist trap. On the positive side, the surrounding park and the small market in front of the castle are pleasant and worth a stroll. But if you’re looking for a truly remarkable castle experience, I would recommend Peleș Castle instead.
