Come here only for history and forget about dark/gothic/Dracula/vampires vibe if you don’t want to be disappointed. And try to find an opportunity to come early in the morning in order not to die in a queue. We came at 8am and were first, but in two hours only there was a crowd of people. It’s nice, but nothing more, inside and the interior is not special. I felt a huge lack of information and had to google during and after my visit a lot. Again, I’m leaving 3 stars only because it was interesting historically-wise. If you don’t really have time staying in Romania, go to Peles Castle, that one is worth your time and money for sure.

Im Schloss ist es aber sehr eng und die Besucher drücken nur so durch, sodass man für die Schilder keine Zeit hat und wir sie am Ende nur fotografiert hatten um sie im Nachhinein zu lesen. Die Folterausstellung war interessant. Was aber meiner Meinung nach fehlt ist eine Altersbeschränkung. Diese ist definitiv nicht für kleine Kinder und während wir drin waren und es unseren Magen sehr durcheinander gebracht hatte waren Familien mit Kleinkindern drin die dann Fotos mit allen Dingen machten und die realistischen Bildern der Folterung begutachteten. Die Zeitreise mit dem Aufzug war unserer Meinung zu teuer und ist nicht sehenswert. Es geht einmal in die Tiefe und dann mit ein paar Videoscreens werden Bilder gezeigt.
