Ich empfehle lieber ein anderes der zahlreichen Burgen zu besichtigen! Bisher die einzige Enttäuschung in dem wunderbaren Land, Rumänien bekommt trotzdem 5 Sterne !!!!!

The key is to arrive early, so we spent the night before just outside Brasov. From there, it's about 40 km to Bran Castle, and we arrived at 10:30 am. Parking for a moped cost 8 Lei per hour. The restroom attendants are happy to take luggage and helmets for safekeeping in exchange for a small tip – so it's all good! You pay in Euros or Lei when you pick up your vehicle. It's just a 3-minute walk from the parking lot to the castle. You buy tickets from a machine there, with various options. Depending on how busy it is, the "fast lane" might be worth it. It wasn't very busy when we were there, so we opted for the standard entry. Overall, it was quite nice; we had to and wanted to go. Some visitors dress up, but we were already in our motorcycle gear – so no Dracula costumes for us. You can book additional tours, such as the cellar, the torture chamber, etc. After the tour, we simply left. Outside there are snack bars, restaurants, KFC – a road leading towards Brasov – and souvenir shops. (Original) Wir sind mit dem Motorrad in Rumänien unterwegs, ein Halt hier im Schloss bei "Dracula" ist ein zwingendes Muss! Wichtig wäre nur zeitig vor Ort zu sein, daher schliefen wir die Nacht davor auch knapp unterhalb von Brasov. Von dort waren es knapp 40km bis Schloss Bran, wir waren 10.30 Uhr dort. Der Parkplatz für ein Moped kostete 8 Lei pro Stunde. Die Toilettenfrauen nehmen gerne für ein Trinkgeld die Gepäckstücke und Helme zur Aufbewahrung entgegen - läuft also!! Bezahlt wird bei Abholung des Fahrzeuges in Euro oder Lei. Zum Schloss sind es vom Parkplatz knapp 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Dort kauft man die Karten am Automaten mit verschiedenen Optionen. Je nachdem wie voll es ist, lohnt sich womöglich die "fast Lane". Bei uns war noch nichts weiter los, also haben wir den Standardeintritt gewählt. Alles insgesamt ganz nett, wir mussten und wollten hin. Einige Gäste verkleiden sich, wir waren eh in Motorradklamotten - also nix mit Draculakostüm. Man kann Besichtigungsoptionen, wie den Keller, die Folterkammer usw. Dazu buchen. Wir sind nach der Besichtigung einfach wieder gegangen. Draußen gibt es Naschi, Restaurants, KFC - ein webig Richtung Brasov und Souvenirs.
