Totally overrated. Ok, the view is nice but the castle itself uses PR to fool people. It is "sold" as Dracula's castle when in fact it never ever had anything to do with the legend of Dracula or at least with the romanian prince that was associated with the legend of Dracula. It is in fact a border crossing fortress, very narrow with the PR dept mixing bits of Romanian history when in fact some of those bits had nothing to do with this place. The park is nice though but the castle overrated. If you want to see a real castle Peles Castle is the true diamond of Romanian castle. Bran Castle is just a private and over expensive business surrounded by a very crowded and corny place outside its gayes.
