We had a very bad experience here, as we were sold tickets and then denied entry since our coach tour was late. I had checked with the castle prior to this that we were okay to use our tickets and they said yes. We queued for 40 minutes in freezing rain to be told we would need to go back to the gates and pay more for tickets. We didn't do this as they were already expensive. It ruined our day out, and our trip, which was to celebrate a special occasion.
