I recently visited Bran Castle and booked a guided tour, which turned out to be an excellent decision. Our guide, Sebastian, was absolutely brilliant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all of our questions with ease, and brought the history to life in a way that was both engaging and informative. Thanks to him, we learned so much—not only about the castle itself, but also about Romanian history and the story of Vlad the Impaler. The experience genuinely changed our perspective and gave us a much deeper understanding of the historical context behind the legends. The castle itself is magnifique—beautiful, atmospheric, and full of character. I would highly recommend both visiting Bran Castle and opting for a guided tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have someone like Sebastian leading it.

We went early in the morning; it wasn't very crowded, but we did have to wait a bit to get in and take our time because of the crowds and the narrow spaces. (Original) Maravilloso.
