It's just ok. I guess if you are really into Dracula you may enjoy it. It takes about 20 minutes to see the whole thing. Peles Castle is way, way better!

There are much more beautiful castles and historical places in Romania than Bran Castle. In my point of view, it’s nice for children and school kids to visit but not adults that care about history. It’s extremely touristic for my taste and too crowded that you cannot see the detail and take some photos. There are lots of small souvenir shops outside that makes the area look like a huge bazar place. If you don’t have kids which they might like it I will not recommend it.

There are so many beautiful castles and fortified churches in Romania that the famous Bran castle was a disappointment. It is more a castle museum for children and schools that a history castle . Even it was Friday morning of mid April there were so many people inside that you could not even enjoy the castle as an old building
