The castle is beautiful! But its a tourist trap! They advertise as Dracula 's Castle but its all about the royal family 's history with a tiny bit about Vlad.

I went there last summer and its definetly the coolest castle ive ever been to. The medival arcitecture was beautiful and there was medival weapons and armour which vas the coolest part. there was also a courtyard with a well and the interior had furniture basicalle showing how the castle must have been furnished. The castle also tells usits history about the defence and about the ottoman invasion of the Balkans and i also got a small pencil sharpener of a tiny globe from the gift shop. overall the staff was kind and helped me figure out where the rooms where and how to get there and the place was beautiful. beat castle ive been to

I came 20 years ago when I was in college and it was great. Medieval items throughout and a freedom to wander. It has become a commercial place, complete with weird rooms about ghosts and other garbage. I won’t be coming back or bringing the kids. However, it is an interesting castle and unique attraction for those that don’t know any different.
