I didn't have high expectations after reading better reviews of Peles castle but unfortunately that was closed on a Monday when I was in Brasov. Bran castle is small, extremely busy, and amongst a lot of very touristy shops. I found very little interesting inside the castle and it was too crowded to enjoy the views from the balconies. Perhaps worth visiting if you are in the area but I don't think it is worth the 1h30m round trip from Brasov.
