Foggy Walking Tour
The weather wasn't good and the hike was tougher than I thought, but overall it was great. Very foggy, but the fog lifted at the perfect times to get our pictures. Our guide, Katie, was pleasant and very knowledgeable!

A Great Experience, Unique Views of Los Angeles, and Very Informative
We did the 2.5 hour walking tour with Mark. It is a very doable walk with great views overlooking the sprawling vastness of Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign. Mark was a great tour guide and very proud native Angeleno. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the history of Hollywood land and the origins and upkeep of the Hollywood sign, but also a wealth of knowledge on the history about the city of Los Angeles. Mark is entertaining and crafts the history of Hollywood land and the sign in an entertaining storytelling narrative to keep you engaged the entire time to the summit and back down. The view from the top and behind the Hollywood sign is unique and worth your time. Mark is also cognizant of the length of the walk and makes appropriate stops to take in the sights and catch one’s breath. Would recommend this tour and taking in the experience with Mark as your tour guide.

I signed up for the excursion as part of an impromptu solo trip from TX and it did not disappoint! Chris was an amazing guide, in tune with the needs of the group and stopping to tell stories and give tidbits at the most appropriate times. He even stepped in to take everyone in the group's photos! Highly recommend!!

Hike to the sign with Noelle
You want to see the Hollywood Sign, just about as close as you can legally get to it? This is the tour for you. This is a very walkable, fairly easy hike to the sign with plenty of breaks to rest and take photographs. Noelle was a great guide. She's funny and she knows the history of the sign and of the Hollywood Hills better than anyone you know. She'll even point out where celebrities live (or lived). So, you get to see the sign and some celebrity homes, you get comedy, and you get some education (let's call it history), too. And you get to burn a few calories, not that anyone reading this needs to do that.

Today, we took a tour to the Hollywood Sign, but the weather was rainy, and there was no visibility of the sign at all. There wasn’t enough time for me to cancel, and the company didn’t offer a cancellation option. It was also our last day in LA. The guide was attentive but very formal, sticking to the schedule despite the bad weather. There was a lack of good judgment. If you have plenty of time, don’t book in advance. The tour had only six people.

We had the absolute best time with Chris when we did the hike to the back of the Hollywood sign in November with our family of 5 (3 teenagers). Privatizing was worth every penny because we were able to pick an early departure, and enjoy the empty trails. Chris was so kind and such a well of knowledge. He made it so interesting and fun for the kids. I will 100% use Bike and Hike again and would highly recommend them to anyone.
