Nice but a bit overcrowded on the boat to get there.

Overall, it was a good experience. The private beach was very nice, and the lunch was very good. However, the boat to get there was very overcrowded with not enough seats for all the passengers. The snorkeling was also a bit rushed and unorganized. The pig experience was cool but also overcrowed. Please be aware of the bad current near the jetties if you try to snorkel from the beach. I would recommend waiting to snorkel from the boat later.

Had a blast!

10/10 for the directions, boat, food, rum punch, beach, pigs, activities… my only complaint (or two) no music on the island today - kind of a bummer but not really their fault with the WiFi problems and it was very unorganized getting back. Boats kept coming and going but no one was calling groups or helping us get back on time, we ended up going an hour over (not complaining but we did have a cruise to get back to) and still were unsure if we were in the right place. No one we originally went out with was on our boat back. There were 2,3 and 4+ hour excursions all together. Go for it and book this but make sure you know when and where things are!!

Everything you need to know. An honest review.

I was originally going to give this a 3-star rating purely for the experience, however the crew went above and beyond to make it different from the others. It’s a 20 minute boat ride to get to the private beach. If you are not in one of the first 2 groups you might not get a chair or umbrella, so make sure to get in one of the earlier groups. There are other tour groups that get shuttled to and from the beach while you are there too, however it’s still fun and have plenty of room to play. We spent about 2.5 hours on the beach. They did an excellent job of explaining the safety side of feeding the pigs and made it a fun atmosphere. The pigs were held in a different location on the beach, then released for about 20 minutes to let people feed and pet them. After they were all fed they put them back in their holding area. I envisioned them being on the beach the whole time, however after seeing how much they used the bathroom on the beach, I wasn’t upset when they were put back up. The crew did the best they could at retrieving the pig waste that was on the beach and in the water. Lunch was also provided and was decent. My father-in-law said the fish and chips were great. After the 2.5 hours, the crew drove us to a reef just off the beach. We were told only 20 minutes were allowed for snorkeling. This was the part I was looking forward to. On the bright side, the reef was covered in tropical fish. Although we were in there for an abbreviated time, there was plenty to see. After the brief snorkeling time, we took the 20 minute return boat ride. Finally, throughout the trip, there is a dedicated worker taking pictures of all the families during the excursions. They sent us a link to the pictures the next day. We ended up with over 40 pictures of the family! This was included in the price. We were able to download them for FREE. This was a game changer and single handily bumped my rating from a 3 to a 4 star. As long as you go into this excursion expecting more beach time than snorkeling, then this will be a good experience. Just get there early.

Great time with family

Our family had a wonderful experience on the Swimming with the Pigs excursion! There was so much to do, and everyone in our family found something they loved. We fed the pigs, held an adorable baby piglet, took pictures on the beautiful swing in the ocean, and our son had an absolute blast on the water trampoline and in the clear kayak. The views at Mansa Bay were absolutely stunning. What made this excursion especially memorable for us was how kind and accommodating the staff were. Our daughter has a physical disability, and every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to help. They assisted my husband with safely transferring her on and off the boat to Mansa Bay and made sure she was able to participate in feeding the pigs. It meant so much to our family that they took the time to make the experience accessible and inclusive. After Mansa Bay, we were taken to a snorkeling spot that was absolutely beautiful. Once again, the crew did a fantastic job helping everyone get safely in and out of the water and making sure everyone was comfortable. The only downside—and the reason for four stars instead of five—is that the 2½-hour excursion simply isn’t long enough. Since the tour begins on the mainland, a good portion of the time is spent traveling, leaving only about 40–45 minutes to actually enjoy Mansa Bay. That time also includes waiting for lunch. Unfortunately, our group was called last for food, so we had no time to eat before boarding the boat again. We ended up carrying four trays of food back onto the boat, and after the ride to the snorkeling area and then back to the mainland, our lunch had been sitting out in the hot sun. Overall, this was a fun, memorable excursion with an incredible staff that truly cares about their guests. If the time at Mansa Bay were at least an 1½-hour it would have been a perfect experience.

Disappointing

Unfortunately, this excursion was very disappointing. There were not enough chairs or umbrellas for guests, and they even ran out of cups for drinking water. For the amount of money this cost it was completely unacceptable. When loading the boat to leave, the engine failed, which I understand is beyond the crew’s control, but the delay significantly impacted our experience. We expressed our concerns and informed our guide that we would not have enough time to snorkel because of the cruise ship schedule. Despite this, the boat still stopped for snorkeling. Our group and a few others who were trying to get back to the cruise ship chose not to get off because we were watching the time and didn’t want to miss the ship. We ended up having to run back to the cruise ship because we returned late. Traveling with a group of 15 people ranging from 2-70 years old made this especially stressful and exhausting. The cruise ship was closing the door, and 1 minute later we would have missed it. Overall, the excursion was a frustrating experience. We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend this excursion to anyone on a cruise with a limited time in port.

Fun Day in Nassau! Highly Recommend to Cruisers

Great experience in Nassau with awesome tour guides. Learned about the island on the way to swim with the pigs. Had fun in the sun. Great food, drinks and awesome activities included aside from being able to interact with the pigs. Snorkeling on the way back was a great experience as well. Highly recommend this activity during your time in Nassau. We were able to back it back to our cruise ship with time to spare shopping for souvenirs and trying conch.

It was ok . It felt very rushed and the lunch was questionable . The other groups that were there took up much of the space and they ran out of rum punch quickly, so it wasn’t unlimited drinks for our group . Snorkelling was way too quick . It was ten minutes. All in all it was ok but I will pick another tour instead next time . The guy at the office was super chill and helpful.

Fantastic Experience

The crew (Captain Ray, G) were fantastic and made the experience fantastic. The boat was smaller and more intimate with about 20 guests on the excursion. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Unforgettable Family Day in Nassau

A Must-Do!From start to finish, this was an incredible experience! The team was highly organized and incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. We created wonderful family memories that we will cherish forever.The beach was packed with fun activities: swimming with the pigs, water inflatables, beautiful beach swings for great photos, and outdoor games like volleyball and cornhole. The food was absolutely delicious (we loved that we could choose our meal before the boat departure), and having unlimited rum punch and water all day was a huge plus! To top off the perfect day, the crew took us snorkeling, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Thank you so much to the whole team for this amazing day! We highly recommend it!
