The tour was great. Miki shared a lot of Osaka food secrets with us—authentic places that real local people go. Unfortunately, it was a cherry bloodbath tour also and the weather and cherry trees did not cooperate. Miki did find a few trees with sakura and ume blossoms but nothing like the root of flowers I was dreaming of. But Miki made the best of the situation.

Highly recommended tour! It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! Our guide Saika was absolutely lovely! My partner and I were the only 2 in the group so we ended up having a private tour. Saika took us to 5 different food experiences: a standing restaurant where we had amazing sushi (best sushi we had so far), an izakaya, an okonomiyaki place, a ramen street restaurant and a local desert at the end. Saika went above and beyond to make us have a great time. It was not only a food tour, but on the way she stopped and showed us different things and shared interesting fun facts and habits in the Japanese culture. She speaks very good English and had a great sense of humor. She took so many pictures of us along the way without us even asking and shared them at the end. And ended up spending more time with us than advertised in the activity. She was absolutely great! Must try activity!

It was a wonderful tour. The tour guide was super informative and very nice. He was responsive to all our wishes. Unfortunately, the time passed far too quickly. We learned a lot about the real Japan and the life of the Japanese. We liked the choice of restaurants and food. We would love to come back and take the same guide. I can only recommend this tour.

Hands down, this was one of the best food tours we took during our Japan trip. Our guide Noburu was fantastic. He guided us through many snack and sweet shops, and through three different types of restaurants. We went to a yakatori restaurant, izakaya and Chinese gyoza place all of which were excellent. This was one of the few food tours where we were full by the end. Our family is pescatarian and we traveled with our three kids, all under 12 yrs of age. Noburu adjusted the menu and effortlessly accommodated our needs. We also tried a variety of sakes which were excellent. This tour was worth the price pad. I cannot recommend this tour with Noburu enough!

The tour was fine but for the price ($444 CAD for 2) it was absolutely terrible value and we feel gouged. For that price I'd expect the tour to be a little more curated and the guide to be more knowledgeable which is what we were expecting to pay for since food and drinks couldn't have been more than $60. We felt like we didn't really learn anything more than anything you can find on the internet. The description said 4 food stops but we ended up going to 3 food stops + 1 drink stop. There was no consideration for portions and by the third spot the food wasn't as enjoyable since everyone was full and food was wasted. If the the price was cheaper our thoughts would have been different but we definitely did not get good value for money.

Nach 3 verschiedenen Zeitangaben haben wir uns an den Termin und Treffpunkt aus der Bestätigungsmail gehalten. Wir bekamen einen kurzen Anruf, in dem zugesichert wurde, dass "die Kollegin" bald eintreffen würde, aber nach 30 Minuten ist niemand erschienen. Der Anbieter war daraufhjn nicht mehr erreichbar. Wir sind also umsonst gekommen. Schade!

We had an excellent tour with Kay, a real highlight of our stay in Tokyo. Kay was friendly and funny and we got to try so many types of food we wouldn't otherwise have known about. Highly recommend this tour. Five stars from us!
