Just ended an amazing adventure (3 - 5 May 2025) with our awesome guide, Kacper. The programme was well paced, fun and engaging. Kacper is well prepared, knowledgeable, patient, witty and humorous. We came off the trip with joyful hearts, new friends, appreciation of the people, culture, history and way of life in Iceland. We couldn’t ask for more. I will highly recommend this tour to anyone who’s looking to explore Iceland. Kacper - thank you for the awesome trip! Review for Silfra Snorkeling: I booked this tour for 4 adults. After gearing up with that heavy suit we went for snorkeling. The guide gave us 5 mins to decide if we wanted to proceed. You get overwhelmed with the chilled water, how clean it is and 5 mins is not enough time to decide. I refused to go and came out but 2 of my other friends wanted to go but were ofcourse scared. In such a small group of 6 people, the guide was not able to handle and refused to take them. I paid 63k ISK for a tour that only 1 of us actually did. It was so disappointing and unacceptable that I wanted to yell at our guide and to Arctic Adventures. I saw 3 tours go before me and another one after me, and at every tour the guide was very helpful and ensured that people get comfortable cause it is new for us but not for the guides. I spoke to the company and asked them for a refund for 2 people and ofcourse I did not get that but they were extremely rude in responding and showed zero understanding.

Unforgettable experience being able to hike on a glacier, very awesome feeling of feeling the crunch under your feet with each step on the crampons. Amazing guide named Mikel, very knowledgeable and took the time to talk to us throughout the hike and answer any questions we had. Only suggestion would be to allow customers to fill out the safety waiver online prior to arriving for the event to save a good 30+ minutes that could have been spent on the glacier. If you are in Iceland and debating whether or not to participate in a guided glacier hike… just do it! Never know when your next opportunity to do so will be, or even the status of these beautiful glaciers in the future with the rapid pace they are melting and receding at.

The tour was great, and Lili, our guide, was very nice. However, we went on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula tour, and perhaps there were too many stops included. Everything felt a bit rushed and busy. For example, I would have liked to watch the seals for longer. We were lucky to choose the right spot on the beach to see them, but if you pick the wrong location, you might not see any due to the limited time given. Some of the churches weren't particularly interesting, but the surrounding landscapes were really beautiful.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Arctic Adventures during our recent trip to Iceland. From start to finish, everything was well-organized, professional, and full of adventure. I highly recommend this tour company to anyone looking for guided day tours in Iceland, especially those interested in snorkeling in Silfra and exploring the Golden Circle and West Iceland. On our West Iceland day trip, we were lucky to have Slavi as our guide. Slavi was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of fascinating stories about Icelandic history, geology, and folklore. He made sure we were comfortable at every stop—from the breathtaking waterfalls to the charming towns and hidden gems along the way. His passion for Iceland and its natural beauty was infectious, and his expert driving and sense of humor made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. Slavi truly elevated our experience—if you’re booking a West Iceland tour, ask for him! For our snorkeling tour in Silfra Fissure at Thingvellir National Park, we were guided by the amazing Timu. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Timu made it feel safe, exciting, and magical. He explained everything clearly, from how to use the drysuit to what we’d see in the crystal-clear glacial water between the tectonic plates. I got really nervous once i entered the water, but Timu’s calm demeanor and encouragement helped both my sister and I feel confident diving into the chilly waters, and we’re so grateful to him for making this bucket-list adventure unforgettable. If it weren’t for him- I wouldn’t have been able to do it.

We had a wonderful trip today with our guide Lili. The weather couldn't be better and Lili shared with us multiple interesting facts about Iceland and the places we were visiting. Thank you Lili for such a lovely journey!

Ich habe während meines Island Urlaubs mehrere Touren mit Arctic Adventures gemacht und sie waren alle top. Ich habe die Combo Tour mit Schnorcheln und dem Golden Circle gemacht. Ich wurde pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt (in der Buchungsbestätigung wird auf ein ca. 30min Zeitfenster zum Abholen hingewiesen) und zum Schnorchel gefahren. Der Guide war sehr nett und hat uns unterwegs mit den wichtigsten Informationen versorgt. Beim Schnorcheln hat dann Guide Alfons übernommen, der super nett und lustig war. Das Schnorcheln war jeden Cent wert, auch wenn in meinen Anzug etwas Wasser eingedrungen ist und ich nasse Ärmel hatte. Den Rest des Tages hat Tomas mit uns verbracht. Er war super nett und hilfsbereit. Top Tag! Genauso super war die 2 tägige Südküsten Tour mit Lili. Wir waren nur eine sehr kleine Gruppe, sodass wir uns ein wenig kennen lernen konnten. Lili ist ein super Guide und hat uns viele Informationen mit auf den Weg gegeben. Zusätzlich war sie auch anschließend an die Tour noch für uns verfügbar und hat uns Fragen beantwortet. Ich würde Arctic Adventures auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Danke für die schönen Touren und ein Lob an alle Guides!
