We were promised photos from our guide and never received them. The guide was bragging about it being her last day and never uploaded them. Beware they will do NOTHING to make things right and hide behind fineprint after making promises that are posted right on the website. I highly recommend booking with Dive.is and NOT dealing with Arctic Adventures.

We did the extreme glacier tour (ice climbing and several hours of hiking) and our guide, Sara, was wonderful. The weather was awful the day we went on the glacier (raining cats and dogs and gusts of wind for most of the afternoon), but the experience was still great; Sara was knowledgeable about the glacier, cheerful, careful about safety, and a very competent belayer for the climbing portions. The ice climbing shoes and waterproof gear rentals were definitely necessary, given how the weather ended up, but chalk that up to typical Icelandic climate!

This was a really cool experience to be up close and inside of an ice cave. Our guide was very friendly and ensured our safety during a dynamic environment of a living glacier. All the needed gear and instructions were provided with plenty of opportunity for photos in a small-group experience.

The land of “fire and ice” is an understatement! The glaciers, volcanoes, hot springs, pastures, sheep and horses were more than you can imagine!

By far the best tour experience we have had in all of our travels. Our tour guide Diddi was phenomenal and shared his knowledge of his heritage and love for this land with us each and every day and night of our 8 day tour of the outer ring. We stopped, hiked and saw so many wonderful sights every day. He educated us along the drive and when we hiked, he joined us and explained things along the walk as well. He was a shepherd watching over all of us on the tour whenever we stopped, which was many times each day...waterfalls, glaciers, beaches, light houses, the highlands and so much more.

Our guide Justin saved the day, because he actually worked during his holidays for us. Thank you again for that. We did a road trip through Iceland, still we wanted to get a guided tour for informations. We actually only saw things which we haven't seen during our road trip, but we also planned it a bit like that. We did the grindjavik, lava fields tour. It's a hike programmed, but you don't have to do it if you don't feel good enough, thought it is worth it. It's steep and uneven, about 30min. You do a short stop in a cafe where you can eat and use the restrooms. Before heading back to Reykjavik you can use again restrooms.

Tour pomeridiano Golden circle a partire da Reykjavik. Il tour consiste in visita a Kerid, ossia l'occhio del mondo, cascata d'oro di Gullfoss, il Geysir Strokkur, e il parco Nazionale di Thingvellir. La guida e le spiegazioni in ottimo inglese di Ronan (islandese acquisito innamorato dell'Islanda) sono state molto divertenti, chiare e interessanti, ricche di aneddoti che rimangono impressi. Autista bravo e simpatico! il tempo dedicato a ogni tappa è consono considerando le distanze tra una e l'altra, potrebbe essere un po' più lunga la sosta al grande geysir per fare una passeggiata con vista emozionante dall'alto. Consigliato!
