We joined the arctic adventure 2D1N SOUTH COAST, ICE CAVE, JOKULSARLON GLACIER LAGOON TOUR. Pick up went smoothly. But there wasn’t enough time in each stop. Majority of the time we were in the bus travelling, we felt a bit rush. What disappointed us the most is D2 trip to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and ice cave walk. Majority of us paid extra during online payment for an add-on 45-min amphibian boat tour so that we could have closer look at the floating glaciers. Yet on the day, the tour guide said it is either doing the 45min boat tour or the 3hr ice cave hike. We were shocked cuz it didn’t make sense. It is advertised on the website as an “add-on” which means extra. It shouldn’t substitute the ice cave hike. After discussion, the guide said ok we could do the hike first then boat tour. At that point we already doubted the communication between the company and the guide. They didn’t seem to know about the itinerary. After the ice cave hike (in which we only saw the black ice instead of crystal blue ice cave), he told us that the boat trip was cancelled, it was not offered. We were really disappointed and walked to the lagoon looking at at the glacier from afar. BUT WE SAW THAT THE AMPHIBIAN BOAT TOURS WERE STILL RUNNING, several boats were in the lagoon. All of us went to the guide, and he said the company didn’t make reservations. That’s why we could not get on the boat. He also said that he didn’t know why the boat tour is included in the itinerary becuz there isn’t enough time. We were furious because we all booked this tour months in advance. This is completely the company’s responsibility to have it arranged. We contacted customer service, he said that it‘s company’s tour organisers decision not to book it. And hilariously, that there is a bug on the website that they are trying to fix not to include this add on. COME ON, THIS IS A SCAM. Arctic adventure has been running this tour for years. Till now the add on is still advertised and available in the booking. Comments in the past also mentioned about this boat tour, so how would this be a bug?! If you cannot provide what you claim, YOU SHOULD NOT MAKE PRMOSE AND ADVERTISE IT. If there is no this add on, seriously we would have chosen another company. We travelled a long way and were really anticipating for the boat trip. The weather was nice, the boat tours were running and you tell me you didn’t book the tour? The guide kept saying there wasn’t enough time for a 45min boat tour. But he made long stops at the souvenir shops and gas stations.. In the itinerary, it stated that we would be back to the city Center at 9-10pm. But we were already back by 6:30pm 🙂 How rush were we？ Promised to get a refund and it’s been 2 weeks. We still haven’t received it 🙃

Our guide was amazing and honestly- had we found a dark spot on our own, we wouldn’t have had our expert guide there to alert us to the start of the lights. And we would have totally missed it! Great tour- worth every penny. And with a great guide it only gets better!!

This company is terrible. They outsource most of the tours. We were not picked up at the agreed stop for a whale watching tour; they argued that we were a no-show, even though we were at the stop waiting for more than forty minutes. Neither Arctic Adventures nor the outsourced company accepted responsibility for the snafu, and they are not reimbursing us for the tour in Iceland. Our other tour with Arctic Adventures on the same trip was to Katla Cave at the end of summer. That tour should be cancelled during the last months of the season due to ice melting, which makes the terrain unsteady, therefore very dangerous for walking. Furthermore, the cave is very small by then. It does not worth the effort. I do not recommend this company

Best ice vave experience. We did the Ice cave tour, it was well organised inspite the crowed. The tour gave ample time in the caves and the guide was very plesant.

We came to Iceland for the first time and wanted to experience something new. We went to the information desk, where the guy who helped us was very kind, explaining the different options offered. We finally decided to try the Craveness Labyrinth, which was incredible. Our guide, Kevin, was very kind, fun, and confident. An experience 100% recommend.

I took the 6 day around Iceland tour, the tour was amazing, and it was everything I expected and more from Iceland, good schedules, perfectly good hotels, Godjohn was a knowledgeable and extremely service oriented guide and we had really nice experiences. As a solo traveler I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is going on its own, since sometimes driving alone is not the best option. If you prefer staying alone or not sure about sharing room it is better to select the single room option since the bedrooms are not that spacious, in my case it was perfect to share, but have it in mind when making your reservation. I hope I can book other experiences in the future with Arctic Adventures, they are definitely the best. Thank you for everything!

After a couple failed attempts to enjoy the Northern Lights, I did not expect much. But I was so wrong. Our driver and guide Nikos was entertaining and informative. Most of all, he took endless photos of people who wanted to post under the Northern Lights (yes; finally saw it without lens too)! If there was one thing to note is to save some hot cocoa for the second half of the wait because. It does get really chilly as time goes by. Thankfully, the bus had its heater on. Highly recommend!

Booked a 6-day trip with Arctic Adventures. Our guide was Vjeran. Everything was on schedule, no rush, he made sure everyone had enough time to visit the place. If the time allows, he would bring us to one or two extra spots while on the way to the next destination. Overall, the experience was great!

We took the six day tour with Arctic Adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Kristian as our tour guide and driver. He was excellent!!!!! He was extremely knowledgeable, informative, good natured with a great sense of humor and made us all feel very welcome!!!! I would highly recommend him. We were all sad to say goodbye at the end of our trip. He made the trip in a rather crowded minivan so much fun!!!

I had a wonderful tour of the Golden Circle with Arctic Adventures and our tour guide, Kristjan! Kristjan is kind, helpful, knowledgeable and responsible. He kept the group engaged while also making sure the tour remained smooth and safe. I also appreciated that he is an Icelander because as a visitor, I felt he was able to share a deep connection and comprehension of all things Iceland. The sites on the Artic Adventures tour were stunning! I truly enjoyed the landscape and all that Iceland has to offer. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
