Misleading Ice Cave Tour – No Cave Present We booked the Crystal Ice Cave Tour expecting to enter a real blue ice cave as shown in the company’s photos and description. During our visit there was no actual cave at all. We were only taken through narrow ice walls and tight passages with no ceiling and no blue cave chamber. The experience did not resemble the advertised images in any meaningful way. The guide was polite and admitted that there was no actual caves in the tour but the company continues to market the tour using photos of large blue ice caves even though those caves were not present at the time. If ice caves existed earlier in the season, they certainly do not exist now, and this was not clearly communicated before the tour. Very disappointing and misleading. Future travelers should confirm current cave conditions with recent photos before booking.

Went to the ice cave with the snow mobiles ride. All the equipment was on good condition, we had so much fun and it was excellent.

Had a snowmobile experience booked, which due to bad weather was cancelled and rearranged. Actually attempted the trip the second time, tour guide and all staff we met were excellent, friendly and helpful. BUT.... At the last minute, was cancelled again due to bad weather. Offered full refund by email. Unfortunately, despite multiple emails replying/requesting the refund, no subsequent contact or refund was forthcoming. In the end, had to go to my credit card company and got a refund that way. Such a shame, even though it was cancelled, up to that point the company had been very professional.

Me ha gustado el tour. Guía atento. Me hubiese gustado algo más de implicación por su parte en cuanto a horarios y dinámicas, así como también de los compañeros de viaje para disfrutar más los spots. Pero salgo contento. Un país excepcional, con gente excepcional. Recomendable el guía y la compañía

We used Arctic Adventures to book (with 24 hours notice) the whale watching and northern lights combined tour. Excellent communication from them to confirm the booking and to arrange transport arrangements as we were staying close to the harbour so had no need for part of it and due to a running race in the evening they had to re-organise all the pickup locations. Again superb communications. The different tour guides on both trips were knowledgeable, concise and most importantly fun! They gave us a lot of information generally about Iceland and the environments as well as what we were looking out for. We were successful in witnessing both humpback whales & seals in the bay and then Northern lights in the evening. The NL tour was a small group and Palli was fantastic as our NL Hunter, official photographer and star/constellation spotter for the evening. He also supplied excellent hot chocolate & snacks! Transport for both trips (boat and minibus) were clean, modern and comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending them and would defintely travel with them again.

Booking, Pickup/Drop-off was very easy. Our guide was very nice and extremely anxious to find norther lights for us (which he did). He had some "secret" spots where we had a good view and ended up being completely alone. We had plenty of time to enjoy the lights and received detailed information on the phenomenon. He was very knowledgeable. The bus however, despite being new/modern was extremely!!! narrow and uncomfortable. Try not to bring any backpacks if possible!
