Amazing!
Even though the big museum was closed for renovations and the church for the epiphany holiday we still went so many places and took so many pictures. We saw the train station, the lion of Judah, we went up to a view point at entoto, we visited the University, the Mercado and still got to stop in piazza to buy gold. Our tour guide was wonderful and informative and the lunch at the Addis Ababa restaurant was delicious!

Must Go Tour!
This was an amazing tour! A fusion of history, geography, culture, and art. Our guide Desale really delve deep into most notable people in Ethiopia, important artifacts, and monuments across the city.

Nice way to spend layover!
I had a daylong layover in Addis and this tour was the perfect way to spend my time. Everything from the booking to the tour itself was amazing. Our tour guide Desale was very professional and knowledgeable, and i learnt a lot of interesting facts about Ethiopia from him. He even took us souvenir shopping! The lunch experience was authentic, and the various places we visited were worth a visit for sure. Definitely recommended for anyone who has 7-8 hours to spare for some sightseeing. Our group had 5-6 people and the shuttle bus was air conditioned and clean. A special thanks to Desale for getting me dropped to my hotel before the official ending of the tour as my airport shuttle was scheduled for an early departure. It was probably the biggest relief to know that i will be able to enjoy the tour and still return to my hotel on time without any problems. Highly recommended tour and guide!

I had the option on the way back from a different trip to do a daylong layover in Addis via Ethiopian airlines. Seeing this tour, I went ahead and planned my trip back home around it (landed early in the morning, flew out that night). I am SO GLAD that I did. I had such a marvelous day with Luel as a guide and Abere as a driver (I could never manage driving in Addis-- Abere was incredible!). In case it's helpful to others, I'm a white female traveler in my early 30s, and I was traveling solo for this and no one else had booked the tour for that day, so I was the only one being shown around, and I always felt very safe and comfortable with them. Luel is incredibly personable, friendly, knowledgeable, open, and just a pleasure to talk to - he answered a million questions of mine and I learned a ton about Addis and Ethiopia. He is one of the best tour leaders I've ever encountered. I would not have changed a thing about the day.

Great Guide, Great Experience
I was visited Addis Ababa by myself and wanted to experience the city with others. Marriott recommended this tour group. It was better than I could have imagined. Desale was my guide and he professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a lot of laughs. The first day I had one other tourist and I enjoyed experiencing it with them. During the city tour, Desale customized the day according to our interests. Everybody at the tour spots know him and he is respected. The national museum was closed and that was a bummer. But not Desale’s fault. If this is a primary reason for visiting the city, check to see when the renovation is complete. The ethnographic museum at the university will teach you a lot about the city and the history of the country. At the end of the day, we went to one of the restaurants with a cultural show. Some of the songs were b-rated Frank Sinatra. The dancers were very good and came to the audience to dance. The second day we went to the debra libanos monastery and Portuguese bridge. Awesome experience. The ride is through the mountains. Ricky was an amazing driver navigating animals, hills, tuk-tuks, trucks, people. The Portuguese bridge is as majestic as being at the Grand Canyon Desale handles everything and will give you as much information as you want. Strongly recommend. Side note: Areka is no joke and will have you speaking Amharic.

The day trip in Addis Ababa was well organized and full of joy. Our guide Luel was so nice that introduced us the history of Ethiopia and let us enjoy a lot of local food, culture. Thanks a bunch! We are looking forward to having another adventure with Luel in two years to the south of Ethiopia.

Ethiopië city tour
It was a good tour with the tour guide Desale , he was very friendly and well knowledgeable about the country , he gave us a city tour , tour to the rift valley and more . Desale makes you feel safe walking in the city among the locals , he is honest and trust worthy , we will gladly recommend him to other tourists if you visit Ethiopië and will need a guide

Insightful city tour around Addis Ababa
Excellent tour in Addis, very insightful and they take us to the main areas within the city in a few hours. Just enough to have a general ideal of the city, culture and history within the specified timeframe. Excellent Day exploring Addis Ababa
Me and my family had a fantastic time on our Addis Ababa day trip. The experience was super smooth and both Luel & mikeyas were fantastic. Luel was our guide and he had an exceptional understanding of Ethiopian history while Mikeyas was a pro in handling the crazy traffic! This tour lasts about 7-8 hours but gives an excellent understanding of Addis Ababa and Ethiopian history!

Addis day tour with Luel!
I really enjoyed the full day tour with Luel around Addis Ababa. He’s a great guide and companion - I learned a lot about Addis, Ethiopian history and culture, and more. If I did it again I would ask him to have us spend more time walking and less time driving ( maybe skipping a more distant stopping point of two.) I highly recommend Luel as a guide! I’d love to do a longer trip with him outside Addis some time.
